This chalet is perfect to dis- or re-connect a few days. Comfortable, in the middle of beautiful forests and hilly feelds. Its reality is lovelier then any photo can show. The owners, 2 brother farmers, are very gentle and totally correct.

Het chalet staat in een mooie omgeving, waarin je echt tot rust komt. Het huisje heeft veel potentie, maar voelde ook wat sfeerloos aan. De inrichting was vrij sober. Zo miste wij een stoel waarin je lekker kon zitten, een kledingkast en een klein vriesvakje. Daarnaast waren er verschillende gebreken: een losgelaten verduisteringsgordijn en buiten meubilair dat stuk was. Ook was onder andere de bestekla vies. Al met al hebben we genoten…maar prijs en kwaliteit vonden wij niet in verhouding staan.

Genesteld in Rogery, is dit chalet een droom voor backpackers. Omgeven door groen en wilde dieren, hield ik van de ruime tuin en het terras voor mijn ochtendkoffie. Het was gemakkelijk om naar Gouvy te gaan voor boodschappen of om een hapje te eten bij lokale plekken. De plek voelde gezellig maar toch privé, wat mijn budgetreis gedenkwaardig maakte zonder de bank te breken.

Heel leuke locatie om tot rust te komen te midden van bossen en velden. Heel vriendelijke eigenaar. Het houten huisje is praktisch ingericht. Je kan beginnen wandelen direct vanuit het huisje. Je zit hier midden in de natuur en zal ongetwijfeld wilde dieren tegen komen: herten (niet enkel deze in het veld naast het huisje), vossen, hazen, ... Er is een shopping centrum juist over de grens met Luxemburg op 10 min. rijden met de auto.
