I moved to this beautiful part of France in 2001. I lived in a beautiful part of England, but as my family had grown up and had lives of their own I wanted a new adventure in life. France has always been a magnet and once I found this house, in its idyllic location, I was convinced I had found the perfect place to live, and so it remains

Why they chose this property

Essentially the location was the prime factor in choosing this house and then the wonderful character of this ancient farmhouse, in its wonderful setting, totally convinced me that I had found the perfect place to live. A further attraction was the close proximity of Ceret (5 mins by car) as well as the Mediterranean and the Spanish border, which are less than half an hour away

What makes this property unique

The beautiful natural surroundings - hills of vines and cherry orchards; prolific birdsong and the tranquility, must be the unique benefits of this house
