Villa Melisandre is the ideal place to relax and enjoy yourself. Surrounded by a large Mediterranean garden, which ensures total privacy for guests, the villa is only 10 minutes from the centre and enjoys a strategic location for reaching both the beaches of Alghero and the main tourist attractions of northern Sardinia.
The villa is furnished in a classic and refined style with fine furniture and is equipped with all modern comforts to make your holiday absolutely relaxing and comfortable.

INTERIORS
Villa Melisandre is particularly bright and airy thanks to its layout on a single level, entirely above ground.
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning.
The property has 4 bedrooms with double beds overlooking the pool and garden, 3 bathrooms (one with a bathtub, two with showers), 1 fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator and hob, a large open-plan living area with a 55" TV and three large sofas (two of which are sofa beds) and a dining area.

We offer unlimited Wi-Fi throughout the villa, in the garden and by the pool.
Free Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
Daily cleaning and chemical testing of the pool.

Beautiful villa with great outdoor space

Had a fantastic time here, Anna and her daughter went out of their way to make us welcome and greeted us with a wonderful lunch. The villa is perfect for two families and the pool and outside areas are brilliant

Ferien im Paradies

This was our first trip to Sardinia and it won't be our last, having just returned home following a fabulous two weeks in the region. The Villa is spacious, well appointed with everything you need and more to welcome you back when returning from daily trips exploring the surrounding towns and villages. Fertilia the nearby village that comes alive during the evening had everything we needed and more, good restaurants, a fine patisserie, bakery and several small supermarkets. Alghero is just stunning, full of life with many beaches and fantastic restaurants. Villa Melisandre is ideally situated, between Fertilia and Alghero, neither much more than a 10minute drive away, with beautiful sea views and historic culture. On arrival, with prior arrangement they indulged us with a fantastic welcome pack, with lots of home made product, wine and a special secret recipe to toast to, 'Salute'. We will undoubtedly return, the photo's on the website don't really do justice to what is a wonderful property, it's like a secret garden behind the wall. Home now, we are already missing the deep blue sky of Italy, the special memories of Sardinia and the Villa Melisandre, the pool and the garden and of course Anna. Thank You for everything..

10 day holiday = 5* from me!

The Villa and location was unreal. Description is on point and so are the other reviews. We recently returned after a 10 day stay and couldn’t be happier. From start to end, Maria Mercedes (Rep), Anna (owner) and her daughter were at our beck and call for whatever we needed. They even came to clean the pool every morning at 7am before we got up so never heard or saw them and even gave us some surprise treats during our stay. Such a nice touch! Villa was marvellous and easy to get around to shops, restaurants and beaches etc... Other then the BnB next to it there are no other surrounding properties as far as the eye can see. So you do feel especially on the pool side like you are in the middle of nowhere. We thought being based so close to the Alghero airport may be a pain but actually became quite good fun when doing some plane spotting with the kids and guessing the airline. If you can fly into that airport you are winning as it’s literally 5 mins away. We flew into Olbia which was an hour and 30 mins drive (very easy drive). The most breathtaking surprise was the incredible sunsets enjoyed from the terrace by the pool daily. Some of the best I’ve ever enjoyed! It’s a 5/5 from my family which included my wife, two kids (10&7) and another couple. Will most definitely return in the future. Thanks again ladies!!

Siamo due famiglie di otto persone. Abbiamo trascorso 10 giorno nella villa Melisandre. Dal primo giorno ci siamo sentiti più che a nostro agio. La casa é curatissima e pulita fino all‘ultimo dettaglio.Aria condizinata in ogni camera persino nei bagni e ogni stanza e fornita di zanzeriere.Sotto il gazzebo la sera si possono trascorrere momenti bellissimi e grigliare ammirando il tramando.Anna e la sua famiglia fanno di tutto per far sentir i suoi ospiti benissimo. Sempre e subito disponibili per tutti gli aiuti che abbiamo avuto bisogno. Come trovare spiagge ristoranti etc etc. La villa e situata fuori citta. Serve una macchina, ma le spiagge vicine a Alghero distano ca 10-15 min. Anna passa ogni mattina presto a pulire la piscina e il giardino con molta cura. A metà settimana abbiamo ricevuto snche cambio asciugamani e lenzuola. Vi raccomandiamo questa villa e i propietari fantastici Ps: abbiamo nolleggiato un motoscafo per visitare Stintino. Raccomandiamo Daniele Amato. Per andare a cavallo immersi nella natura Le tre stelle Sa Mandra con Michele. Gite meravigliose. Grazie di tutto.

Perfect holidays

The property is wonderful! Beautiful garden, great poolhouse with barbecue. The place is absolutely perfect for 2 families, with 2 identicals separate areas. The services are awsome ! They come everyday at 7am to clean thé pool, the barbecue and give clean pool towels... And sometimes offer you great homemade crostatine! One advice, it could be great to have something to Park the cars under the shadow. All the rest is perfect ! Thank you

Stunning high quality house!

We had high hopes for the villa after much research on Sardinia and it did not disappoint! We have travelled for many years and stayed in many villas and this is hands down the best we have visited: the villa is simply wonderful! Strategic and quite location, access to shops, Alghero's old town and the beach quick and easy as well. Thanks to Anna and her son, attentive and always available hosts: they helped us booking restaurants and they also helped us pay a fine. We can’t recommend this property enough! The most charming and beautiful location, lovely garden and lots of space.

Villa Melisandre is just fantastic and lends itself to communal fun with lots of quite places to retreat to. Grounds and pool are perfect for young and old. A short way from beaches and town. Anna was very helpful when booking and communication was always prompt when answering my many emails! Even during our stay, Anna and her daughter could not be more friendly and helpful, always in a good mood and caring about his guests. The garden and pool are serviced daily. Clean, private, lots of shade, all amenities there, driveway, BBQ, short drive to supermarkets and to the most amazing coastline. Great base to explore the north coast and Bosa as well. Really recommendable!

Traumurlaub in Traumvilla - a Dream!

Our stay from 8.-21.6.2019 ... the beautiful Villa Melisandre, near the town of Alghero! We were taken with the whole property, the surroundings and the more hospitable way of the landlady and her family. We were not only sufficiently and friendly instructed, but we expected a fresh fruit basket and cold drinks. The house, the individual rooms, the property, the garden and the wonderful pool provided us with 14 days full of time-out, peace and fun. Everything was very clean, neat and lovingly furnished. No detail was missing. The contact with the landlords was always friendly and they helped us a lot if we had any questions. The pool was cleaned every morning, once a week there were fresh towels and bed linen. The villa is in the surrounding area, without car nothing goes here. But everything is within easy reach. 2 min away, is the small airport Alghero, which we found rather exciting than disturbing. There are some beautiful beaches 10 min in all directions removed. Whether small "secret" Bays or long, white sandy beaches with sunbeds and parasols. We especially recommend the city of Alghero in the evening. Many small shops and a beautiful old town. Furthermore, the castle in Castelsardo, about 1 hour away, the small town Bosa, also about 1 hour away, offers a multifaceted drive, you will not forget. Whether on one side the coast, or on the other a mountain landscape, which cannot be more beautiful. Also the visit to the Grotta di Nettuno, with boat or by car and then over 600 steps, it is worth a trip. For children and horse lovers we recommend Michele from Tre Stelle Sa Mandra. Here we offer rides to and from the sea. After 14 days we are enthusiastic about the North - West of the island of Sardinia. The landscape is breathtaking and our thanks go to the landlords of the villa, because we had everything you need to feel good. Greetings from Lake Chiemsee

Would definitely stay again!

We have just returned from a week stay at Villa Melisandre. We had a fantastic stay. The villa is situated in a fantastic spot. Not overlooked and only a short distance to the town of Alghero, where there are fantastic restaurants and shops to stock up the well equipped kitchen. The villa is clean and very spacious with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Living room and terraces were huge! The pool is also very clean and well kept. The beach is a little further down the road (10min. by car) and definitely worth the distance. The villa has air conditioning which was a godsend on the hotter days, and the swimming pool is lovely. The beds are comfortable and it never got too hot overnight like some other villas do. The villa enjoys sun all day, and there are plenty of sun beds to relax on. We spent a lot of time under the umbrella by the pool and up on the balcony. All in all, this is a great villa for families and friends and we would definitely book again.

We had a fantastic time

Anna was a perfect host. When we arrived, there was a lot of food prepared for us (fruits, drinks for the kids and prosecco for us). The house is very spacious and got enough place for two families with two kids each of them. The interior is beautiful furnished. Everything was very proper. There is a big garden outside, where we eat our breakfast. The swimming pool was just perfect. We spend a lot of time in it. The house is also very well placed. We went swimming to the beach of Bombarde (12 minutes), to the sea of Maria Pia and you can also easily visiting Alghero from there (15 minutes driving). I can recommend the house of Anna without hesitation.
