About this property
The Old Pump House -Tenby
Cosy holiday home for 4 with parking
The Old Pump House has been lovingly restored and converted into four self contained properties. Number 1 with its original features, exposed beams and quaint touches makes for a cosy and comfortable home from home.
The property comprises an open plan living space to the ground floor where there is room enough for a dining area within the cosy lounge. There is a well equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, washer/dryer and all the essentials. The striking spiral staircase leads to a spacious landing leading to a family bathroom with shower over bath and two large, light and airy bedrooms. The first floor is up in the eaves giving a grand feeling of spaciousness. The tastefully decorated master bedroom offers a large low double bed and modern en-suite shower room while the second bedroom is a good sized twin. Both bedrooms benefit from Velux roof windows, making the best of the light streaming in. There is a travel cot available if required, simply enquire on booking. Within the property you will have access to free WiFi and outside you will find a private courtyard garden, enclosed by a low wall and which is accessed via a gate next to the property. There are two allocated parking spaces in the shared driveway.
The property is located a short drive or leisurely walk from the beautiful, medieval walled town of Tenby. It's pretty pastel coloured buildings spill out along the cliffs and around the bay where its famous sandy beaches lay in wait for you. You'll also find an abundance of gift shops and amenities as well an array of restaurants, pubs and cafes; everything you could wish for from a Welsh beachside holiday.
The Pump House is perfectly situated for easy access to public transport links and is in good proximity to all of Pembrokeshire's other major attractions. Families will love exploring all that Tenby and Pembrokeshire have to offer, from castles to theme parks, Alpaca walks to island tours, there really is something for everyone. Favourites include Oakwood Family Adventure Park, Pembroke Castle and Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo. Why not take a little trip over to Merlin’s birthplace in Carmarthen!
For those with nature in their hearts, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park provides the perfect place to explore 629 square kilometers of natural beauty, including 50 beaches and bays as well as rare and wild sea birds including puffins and razor-billed auks.
We can’t wait to welcome you to The Old Pump House in this special little corner of South Wales.
Guests will be able to contact their property manager by telephone during working hours. There is a 24 hour manned line for out of hours emergencies.
The property is on the end of a terrace of converted cottages and benefits from a private courtyard garden enclosed by a low wall and access from a gate to the side of the property and parking for two cars. The cottage benefits from being in a quiet area of the town with good access to the main attractions.
It is recommended that travellers bring their car, there are plenty of public car parks. The town can be accessed on foot within around 30 minutes.
