Bryn Lon: Pet-friendly rural retreat in Caergeiliog, sleeping 6 guests

If you want to enjoy a truly rural holiday retreat on the Isle of Anglesey, Bryn Lon is for you!

Check In: 4pm | Check Out: 10am

Bryn Lon is one half of a stone barn conversion which has been brilliantly divided into two guest accommodations: Bryn Lon and Bryn Lon Bach, and which can be rented separately or as a whole.

Bryn Lon sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms and up to 10 guests can stay at Bryn Lon Mawr (the two cottages together).

The accommodation enjoys a beautiful countryside setting in Caergeiliog, just a five-minute drive to the village of Bodedern and an easy 15-minute drive to popular Rhosneigr village and beaches.

What you should know: Bryn Lon is pet-friendly, welcoming one well-behaved dog. Tell your humans!

Sleeping arrangements

Enter into a beautiful double-doored hallway with gorgeous flagstone tiled floors where you find three spacious bedrooms and a family bathroom.

All three bedrooms feature lovely wood-beamed ceilings which add a touch of rustic charm to each. They are complete with wardrobes and dressers.

There are two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. A perfect set-up for families with children and also for grandparents.

The family bathroom is equipped with a shower over bath, washbasin, WC and heated towel rail.

Upstairs living and dining

Head upstairs to the gorgeous living, dining and open-plan kitchen area with its wooden floors, beamed double-height ceilings and skylights.

The living area features two comfortable sofas, a flat-screen TV and a cosy wood burner (plus there is central heating for extra warmth during autumn-winter stays).

The American-style fully equipped and well-stocked kitchen and diner come together as the perfect space for preparing meals together, while you catch up on the latest gossip over a glass of wine or bubbly. The dining table seats eight guests.

Please note that in the middle of the room there is a low beam so please be careful.

If you are renting Bryn Lon Mawr as a whole, you can open the connecting door from the kitchen/diner which links to the kitchen of Bryn Lon Bach via a hallway (this door remains locked if you are just renting one half of the property).

This is a fantastic set-up where you can gather, cook together and dine together and then cosy up on comfortable sofas and catch up on the latest gossip or your favourite series on the flat-screen Smart TV.

8/10 Good

Very noisy and not private
Had a week stay but left early the property was very clean. Was looking for a private quiet holiday to spend with my family who I haven’t seen for 3 years. The property backs onto the owners and we didn’t feel private. There is also a caravan at the side which was not mentioned in the review luckily nobody was staying there , if they had then not private at all . I was kept awake by the constant noise of the A55 with roadworks at night. Having not been to anglessey before I didn’t know the A55 was a very busy road. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. The sofa in living room was also uncomfortable. If you’re looking for privacy and quietness this is not the place. Overall the Barn was well equipped and clean .
