Villa Azul de Frigiliana by Ruralidays

Rural house located in the El Fuerte de Frigiliana Natural Park, in the province of Málaga, Andalusia.

The very peaceful house is decorated in a rustic style and is secluded, allowing you to fully enjoy the tranquility that surrounds you in what has been repeatedly described as the most beautiful village in Spain: Frigiliana. The house has two bedrooms located in the attic, one with a double bed and direct access to a cozy terrace, and two with two single beds each, and two bathrooms with showers, one of which is en suite. This en suite bedroom will remain closed and will only be opened for bookings of more than 6 people.

The living area is extremely charming, comprising a living-dining room with a stone fireplace and a separate, fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and another sofa. The spacious terrace, which opens towards the hills surrounding Frigiliana and the Mediterranean Sea, will allow you to enjoy breathtaking views and an unforgettable breakfast. The house has radiators.

The outdoor area lacks nothing. The beautiful private pool is surrounded by sun loungers, making sunbathing one of the main activities you'll want to enjoy in this spectacular property. You can also take pleasure in walks or bike rides. Near the house is the charming village of Acebuchal, a popular tourist destination and extremely important to Frigiliana. In this village, you can savor traditional Frigiliana cuisine.

Outside, next to the pool, you'll find another bedroom with a double bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower.

The house is accessed via a 100-meter driveway.

Villa with a view

Great villa. We particularly enjoyed the terrace and pool area. The view down the valley to Nerja and the sea is stunning. The villa is well presented, very clean and equipped with most things we needed. Jose was friendly and helpful. Only downside was lack of air conditioning in two of the bedrooms. Also beware the last bit of road to the property is very steep and narrow. Otherwise it would be perfect!

Dit huis is prachtig gelegen met zeer mooie views en terrassen. Het heeft ook gebreken: zeer moeilijk op te warmen in de winter, niet zo geschikt voor oudere mensen en kleine kinderen omwille van bv steile helling naar zwembad en vierde slaapkamer, enkel warm water s’avonds, haperend internet,.. Als de eigenaar onze aanbevelingen opvolgt, dan kan dit ook in de winter een zalig vakantiehuis zijn. We hebben ondanks alles, toch genoten.

Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend, es war eine Freude sie kennenzulernen. Das Haus und der Pool sind sehr sauber und der Garten einfach nur schön. Außerdem ist das Haus uneinsehbar und herrlich ruhig. Ja, die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich aber auf jeden Fall lohnenswert.

Die Aussicht von den Terrassen ist unglaublich; Sie blicken über das Tal, Frigiliana, Nerja und das Meer. Da das Haus auf einem Hügel liegt, haben Sie viel Sonne und gelegentlich eine angenehme Brise. Jose ist ein fantastischer Gastgeber. Er kam ein paar Mal, um uns frische Zitronen und Feigen zu bringen und als wir abends mit unserem Auto eine Panne hatten, holte er uns ab und brachte uns nach Hause. Wirklich unglaublich süß. Also sehr zu empfehlen!

José ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich hat sehr vieles am Haus selber verändert und das nur zum Besten. Am 2. Tag brachte er uns Zitronen und Avocados aus seiner Plantage --> waren super. Da Haus hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt suchten wir doch was abgelegenes wo wir zur Ruhe kommen konnten. Alles war wie beschrieben zudem sehr sauber.

Die Zufahrt ist gut zu bewältigen, auch wenn es die letzten Meter etwas eng und holprig wird. Frigiliana ist ein sehr schönes Dorf, das durch die vielen Gässchen bezaubert. Generell ist die Umgebung sehr einladend und sauber. Wir sagen herzlichen Dank für die wunderbare Zeit. Freundlichkeit, Herzlichkeit, Großzügigkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft - diese Eigenschaften sind bei Manolo und seiner Familie eine Selbstverständlichkeit und haben uns vom ersten bis zum zum letzten Tag wohlfühlen lassen.

Super schön gelegen Unterkunft. Man hat den ganzen Tag Sonne. Die nächsten Nachbarn sind ca. 200 m entfernt, perfekt zum relaxen. Unsere Hunde konnten den ganzen Tag vorm Haus laufen, da kein Verkehr vorn Haus herrscht. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett. Wenn man ein Problem hat, löst er es sehr schnell.
