Got off to a bad start when we couldn’t gain access to the key lock as no email received and link didn’t work and the phone contact we finally had was ill tempered and the wrong key code given. Access gained finally as a result of someone on site helping us. The cabin is fabulous and very well equipped. Our only complaint regarding the let was that the hot tub was over chlorinated which resulted not only in sore eyes but it severely bleached and ruined a swimming costume, so the tub wasn’t used again during our stay. There were no instructions for the hot tub or dipping sticks to test the water. The jets were very poor too. That said, the location and the cabin itself were more than anyone could ask for..

All check-in details, including correct key safe code were sent to the guest. Not receiving details and not bothering to read them are two different things.
The hot tub was chlorinated to current guidelines for hot tubs, so is out of our control I'm afraid. This is quite a high level of chlorine but we have to comply with legislation in this respect. Safety first at all times.
Brilliant week away with friends for both of our anniversaries, would definitely stay again. We enjoyed every minute. Only fault NO SNOW

Had a lovely stay, location was minimal… there was nothing to do at all.. the sat Nav on route took us up through mountains with deep drops one side and landslide the other.. had to be escorted from one side to the other! Very scary… otherwise the cabin itself was lovely, shower would not drain and was not sorted whilst we were there.. old dirty water was coming back through The plug hole which was rank and the hot tub needed chlorine tabs as water was dirty and slimy! Overall stay was ok - would not stay again.

We are not responsible for guests travel arrangements. It sounds like this guest came via the "Rest and be Thankful", which is not the normal route to Dalavich and certainly not something we'd recommend if asked.
Our location is all about the scenery, the great outdoors, nature and abundant wildlife. There are also many attractions within a short drive. If these things are for you there is nowhere better in the UK but if not I'd suggest a different location might suit this guest better.
The shower issue was not reported to us during the guest's stay but after departure it was found to be blocked with soap / hair, which was easily removed.
The hot tub water is changed before all guests arrival and like all highland water has a slight yellowy / brown colour, due to the peaty soils in the area. It is NOT dirty or slimy, is from a certified, potable supply and is chlorinated to comply with health and safety guidelines. Again, this was not reported during the guests stay.
Really nice spacious cabin with a fantastic homely vibe and great space with three rooms. Well stocked kitchen and nice patio with hot tub. Would have been nice if it was a tiny bit clearer that it's set back from the loch a little, however, we really enjoyed walking down and taking a dip!
Would definitely stay here again.
Thank you,
Rosie

Glad you enjoyed your stay. The cabin is around 50m from the loch shore, which I will add to our listing.
Lovely cabin. Very close to loch edge which made getting into water a breeze.
Well maintained and clean, kettle broke while we was there and replacement arrived within half an hour!
Single track road to place has plenty of passing places so no big issues getting there.
Hot tub fresh and clean, great having a place to have a camp fire for kids.
Would definitely stay again.
Lovely log cabin with wood burning fire and hot tub. Perfect location to de-stress and spend time with family. Great communication with manager David who accommodated any changes we had to make regarding dates.
