So happy you enjoyed your stay. Yes the YMCA across the street is a wonderful asset with tennis and pickleball courts and elaborate workout machines. They have classes every day including yoga, step, spin and zumba. A terrific facility. Glad you enjoyed our home.

Dean and Christine live in the Chicago area and have rented short term rentals for many years. Chris is a retired high school art (pottery) teacher and Dean has remodeled, rehabbed, and rented properties his entire life. Chris loves to cook and entertain. They make the perfect team where Dean creates the "canvas" and Chris "paints the picture" with her decorating, and flair for colors and textures. They love to travel and enjoy ballroom dancing and entertaining friends and family. They fell in love with Punta Gorda's hometown feel but also enjoy the many night spots, restaurants, activities, and things to do in the area.

Why they chose this property

Dean found the property on a bicycle ride in July, 2015 and loved the location only minutes from downtown and across the street from the local YMCA with tennis courts and fitness center. Dean rehabbed the home and the guest house (former garage) at the end of the driveway.

What makes this property unique

Ultimately decorated with all new amenities. It is a stand alone private guest house. There is also a large structure on the property that is Chris’ pottery studio. The Guest House property is fenced in and private with a driveway and carport for parking.
