Large high standard self catering two bed roomed non smoking apartment in a small picturesque village located just a few miles from the beautiful Northumbrian coastline and within easy reach of the vibrant city centre of Newcastle.

Fieldhouse offers a Well equipped kitchen/diner, 2 double bedrooms- one with double bed the other has twin single beds. Plenty of wardrobe space in both and lovely views either over the garden or due South towards Newcastle and Durham. Large comfortable lounge with Digital TV , DVD and door into the garden. Bathroom with over bath shower. Full central heating. All linen and towels provided free of charge. Large garden with a pond . Garden furniture available for guests use. Safe off street parking.

We offer everything we would wish for ourselves in self catering accommodation and pride ourselves on being comfortable, spacious and accommodating. A feeling of being in the country but with all amenities close by. The nearest local shops are 10 minutes walk away and there are 2 village pubs offering good food for those days when you just don't want to cook!

Fieldhouse is located in the picturesque village of Old Killingworth, just a few miles from the beautiful Northumbrian coastline of Whitley Bay, Tynemouth and Seaton Sluice .The coastal villages of Craster, known worldwide for its kippers,Bamburgh and Seahouses are approximately 3/4 of an hour drive North.

You will never be short of stunning sights and unforgettable days out when you visit us. Of course, there's the world famous Hadrian's Wall, Roman Britain's biggest building project that still dominates the countys landscape almost 2,000 years after it was constructed. American newspaper USA Today described the wall as "better than Stonehenge".

If you are a lover of gardens and grand stately homes, then Northumberland has plenty to offer. Of course you will have heard of The Alnwick Garden, the finest contemporary garden in the UK, but other equally delightful gardens can be found at Howick Hall and Cragside Estate to name but a few.

Short term

i booked the place for my brother visit who unfortunately didnt manage to come. The place is stunning. Very looked after house, with stunning view into a field. The owner was fantastic when i met and spoke to her. Hope next time i will be able re book the place for when my family will come to visit again and hopefully they will be able to stay at this fab accomodation.

A hidden gem

We stayed to visit family in the area - have always stayed at premier inn Holystone for convenience- would have always stayed here if we had known about it - was recommended Field House by a member of the family who works for tourist information

Fantastic place tostay

The whole package from meeting Bill and Marilyn, such warm friendly people. The apartment was beyond our expectations. The welcome pack made especially to our specifications when taking NH g our looking , which was a lovely a danrastic start to the first day we arrived.
