You will have the view of the sea right from the doorstep, and the beach is roughly only a 5 minute walk.

A theatre is nearby and plenty of amusements for the children. You can easily travel all over the Northeast from here, the nearby metro is perfect for visiting Newcastle a vibrant city full of life and culture, hop on to Tynemouth and visit the wonderful weekend indoor market dubbed the Covent garden of the north.
