A lovely, tastefully decorated, fully equipped and well maintained property. Comfortable, beautifully furnished and homely. We loved it!
Great location for town and just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Jesmond with its high end shops and cafes, and in the evening cocktail bars and restaurants.
A well deserved 5 🌟 review.
Many thanks

We stayed here during a visit to Newcastle to see old friends in the area. We used to live in Jesmond. The house was quite quiet for being on a main road and had everything we needed. The only thing is it’s listed as a 4 bedroom 3 bath but it’s actually 3 bedroom as one upstairs room has an extension with twin beds in, and 2 1/2 baths as there’s a toilet room in the other upstairs room. We found parking easy right in front but it may be tricky at certain times. The sat nav took us to a different house first so make sure you put in the correct post code.We had a lovely stay and felt safe and comfortable.Thank you, Donna W
Lovely house was perfect for our family to spend the night before our daughters wedding, lovely decor , lots of room for the bride to get ready and looks great on wedding photos. Lottie was so good and accommodating when due to the current covid situation the booking was moved 3 times xx would definitely recommend thanks Lottie 💕
The property has a good space and good location. The property was not as clean as it should have been and the fridge was too. Small for the number of people it sleeps . It also was missing shelves. The house had a good feel about it and we had a very good stay. I think if the. Cleaners were changed and the fridge upgraded it would definitely be a 5 star property

Hi the fridge shelves had dropped and where at the bottom of the fridge, however I have actually replaced the fridge to a more suitable one and also have a new cleaner.
Easy checkin process. Owner very responsive via text. Good property in a nice area. Big park a short walk behind the property. Easy to get to south shields and whitby with family we were visiting.
Great place/location and liked the set up of the property. We could easily park our two cars right outside the property.
Nice walks just behind the property, handy pub nearby. Would book it again
House fantastic. like a show home.
only downside was that the parking is very resrticted. its on a main road and unless you drive a moped you cant fit on the drive. the parking is on the footpath if there is room.
on our trip the bedroom TV didnt work other than on BBC1.

Thank you for your response. The t v has now been returned and all station now work, think a previous guest must have altered it, the parking for the property is outside of the main gate this is always available for guests and is only used for my property, parking is also available in the other street if more than one car,
I’m pleased you enjoyed your stay.
Thanks
This property was ideal for our family needs for a full weeks' stay for a family event, with the city and coast both a short hop on the Metro, and Jesmond Village and all amenities on the doorstep, including the Sainsburys Local in three minutes walk. With glorious Jesmond Dene at the back, we could walk from the house and enjoyed both owls and a kingfisher. Set back from the road, the house is quiet, and the back garden is delightful - sadly weather too wet to enjoy every day. The beds and bedding were the best ever encountered away from home - so cosy! Lottie was very helpful and the house is provided with all those little essentials that make a stay away from home easier. We have had the most wonderful week in the North East and it was so lovely to come back to the house at the end of a busy day. We recommend the property unreservedly. Thank you so much Lottie for sharing your wonderful home.
We loved the house and were very comfortable.
Just a note that dustbins were full to the brim when we arrived on the Friday.
We were impressed with all the extra touches, but would have appreciated dishwasher tablets, a tea pot ,and we had to hunt for towels are there were not enough for one each.

Hi thanks for your comments, I was away on holiday at the time of your stay but there’s 2 dustbins and a recycle bin at the front of the property but with most councils they only get emptied once a fortnight due to cut backs, however they were due to be emptied on the Wednesday, dishwasher tablets where left in cupboard under the sink, I don’t have a tea pot as most people tend to use tea bags in mugs but I will consider getting one if any one else mentions it.
The cleaner however did report that one of the rings on the gas hob on the cooker had been left on (low)for 2 days after your check out which was very worrying and disappointing, she also said the house was left very messy and untidy (the worst she had seen in all my bookings) and extra cleaning than normal was therefore required, makeup marks were left but she managed to get them out.

Wonderful! Highly Recommend!
This beautifully updated townhome is in an amazing location...steps from the breathtaking Jesmond Dene outdoor nature walk with waterfalls and close to many pubs and restaurants. We travelled with my in laws and our one-year-old and had an amazing time. Lottie's place is just gorgeous and she is an outstanding hostess! Twice she went the extra mile for us; once with the baby equipment I had delivered, and then when I left my phone behind. If you want a restful and fun stay in a first-class accommodation, this is it! Thanks again, Lottie!

Beautiful home
This is the most beautiful comfy home for relaxing or exploring Newcastle. My family and I rented for 4 nights over the Christmas period, I live and work in Newcastle and needed somewhere to stay for christmas as my kitchen was not finished and wasn't suitable for making christmas lunch as I had no cooker or sink. As soon as I seen this house I couldn't believe how beautiful it looked online and it sure looked so much better in real life, the owner Lottie was very helpful she explained everything clearly and welcomed my dog, Jesmond dene is just at the back of the house and is beautiful for nice walks. Our Christmas was perfect we throughly enjoyed our family time together. Thank you Lottie for letting us rent your beautiful home.

Lovely house in a very nice area.
We rented this house for 2 nights to visit our son who is at university in Newcastle. The house is very nicely decorated throughout and has a very homely feel. The location is great with a lovely walk around Jesmond Dene park, not too far from the beach and very close to town. Lottie was very helpful when we left a pair of trousers behind and very kindly posted them onto us. A great weekend had by all!

About the host
Hosted by Lottie
Hi my name is Lottie and I am a very easy going host. The property was my personal home, therfore it is very homley and welcoming. I love interior design and architecture and I love the cotswolds and have tried to emulate the property to feel like it’s in the countryside, yet has all the benefits of being close to the city.
Why they chose this property
This is not an average rental property, this was up till recently my main personal home therefore the house is very homely and has lots of soft furnishings, art and interesting bits and pieces. The property has ample free parking just outside the property and is very close to the city centre, yet also has the benefit of being next to Jesmond Dene so it is also very relaxing. I am a bit of a clean freak so the house is always immaculatly clean. The property is a 5 minute taxi/drive to the centre of the city.(Costs 7.00) Located on the border of Jesmond/Gosforth which is Newcastles most desirable areas, walking distance to Jesmond Dene, Freeman Hosital, Jesmond, Gosforth, South Gosforth, Town Moor, Pubs, Shops,Public transport. The house is not suitable for parties.
What makes this property unique
The house is very relaxing, quirky and contemporary yet also has a country feel with the old style entrance porch and unique old oak gates, It feels like home as soon as you walk throgh the door with lots of things you would expect to see to make a home a home. The garden is very private and backs on to the beautiful Jesmond Dene , its lovley in the summer months chilling in the sun over a glass of wine.
