Gregg and Hollie make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble, rooms superb.

Being a Coeliac the continental breakfast was not an option for me, so I catered for myself and the addition of a frig in the room was a great addition.Even so, Gregg put a bottle off milk in, ready for my arrival. This on top of the usual refreshment tray. The accomodation, hosts and location makes this a must stay location.

Our second time - excellent - ideally situated to either stay in Somerset or visit Devon and Dorset.

We used the Golden Fleece as a base to visit the surrounding area, lovely countryside, with lots to see and do, excellent coastal resorts to visit, including the lovely Lyme Regis and the lovely Donkey Sanctuary. Accommodation very pretty and suited out needs perfectly, rooms cleaned everyday and biscuits replenished! All staff very friendly - excellent choice of menu for our evening meals and very enjoyable.

Great location and facilities

We were very happy to stay at the Golden Fleece again and had a very comfortable stay. Carol and team are very thoughtful and our room was warm and cosy on arrival. The new snack and evening meal service looks great although we didn't have the chance to use it on this visit. Breakfast was tasty and perfectly cooked, an unhurried experience and a lovely start to the day. We thought the quality of the rooms and facilities was very high and excellent value for money.

Best of both worlds

Normally we avoid B&B and self catering. The way the accommodation is set out means you have your privacy, don't disturb others and still have access to breakfast and evening meals. Very convenient for exploring Somerset, Dorset and Devon. We were visiting family in Tatworth so it was very convenient!

Amazing stay

Our stay was 5* Hollie & Greg are amazing & the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them & our room was perfect. It is very quiet, looks out onto hills & horses & you have to visit the pill box at the end of the big garden. We will be back to stay soon & sample the huge breakfast basket too. Thank you.
