Situated on the outskirts of Chedington village, our charming country pub is situated high in the chalk fields of West Dorset, and commands one of the finest views in the West Country. Surrounded by National Trust Land, the area is an unspoilt rural delight.

It’s the perfect place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with 6 modern and comfortable ensuite bedrooms which are set
back from the main pub building.

Conveniently located just off a main the road that links Crewkerne and Dorchester, the Inn is the ideal location for exploring the whole of the West Dorset area, from the picturesque coastal town of Lyme Regis to the famous Jurassic Coast line to Weymouth.

Very enjoyable stay at Winyards Gap, perfect location for exploring the Dorset countryside.

From the moment we arrived on a 3 night "staycation break" we felt welcome, the room was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Very good menu and all food was excellent. The staff were also excellent something that is often lacking these days in so full marks and thanks for a very enjoyable stay.
