The Apple Loft is a character property recently renovated to provide comfortable, modern accommodation whilst maintaining character features. The property has it's own off road parking space. The accommodation consists of a downstairs bathroom/shower room, upstairs there is a bedroom with a kingsize bed, a second bedroom with 2 single beds, an upstairs toilet and open plan kitchen, living and dining area.

The property is an easy walk into the town of Alford which has a small number of independent shops, cafes and takeaways. Alford is famous for its thatched manor house which hosts regular craft markets and the five-sailed windmill which produces stone ground flours and has a cafe. There is a park opposite the property which offers plenty of play facilities for children of all ages.
Further afield Louth, the capital of the Wolds, is 16 miles away and Horncastle, famous for it's antique and bookshops is 15 miles away. For bright lights and activities the vibrant town of Skegness is 13 miles away. There are a number of coastal resorts within easy reach of the property with sandy beaches as little as 10 minutes drive away.
The Wolds are a designated site of natural beauty and there are a number of walks, many including the all important country pub stop available. There is an information pack in the property containing details of all local walks and attractions.
There are a number of wildlife and bird watching attractions nearby. From the RSPB site at Gibraltors Point to watching seals being born at Donna Nook (October-December).

About the host
Hosted by Host

Mike and Sherine renovated the property to provide a cosy, home from home environment. With three children ourselves we are well aware that being able to cook meals when you want and have the freedom to come and go as you choose is important. We have provided towels and bedding as we know what a struggle it can be to get everything packed and it allows one less thing to worry about.
Above all we want our guests to have a pleasant and enjoyable stay and we strive to ensure that this is the case. We are always available to answer any queries.
