Regency House is a small, independent, boutique hotel accommodating tourists, business people and academics. It is housed in two beautiful, five storey Victorian buildings side by side and located in Cambridge city centre. Built in 1850, the hotel has the charming characteristics of a typical Victorian townhouse, with high ceilings and sash windows. There are 16 stylish rooms and apartments split over five levels; most have a view of the historical 25-acre Parker’s Piece, and two have balconies.
Just a five-minute walk from the bus station and fewer than ten minutes from the train station.

A very comfortable and relaxed guest house in an excellent location
I felt quite at home at Regency guest house having stayed before. It was very comfortable and has a nice character and feel. I enjoyed the breakfast and the relaxed friendly atmosphere. The bed was comfortable with a very thoughtful bedside lamp! Great location to walk to Cambridge centre etc.

Great place to visit Cambridge with children
The ubication of the Regency House is almost perfect, as my children attended a summer camp at Barracudas Cambridge in St. Faith, which is a beautiful walk of 20 minutes from the Regency guests.
Not very far also from Historical Cambridge.

Centrally located, clean and comfortable
A really fabulous location, easy to get to, clean and very comfortable. I was very happy here and had no issues. Breakfast was not an option, due to covid. And this is really the only thing I would have changed.

Nice atmosphere, but a bit noisy at night
I was pleasantly surprised by the decor of the room and the cleanliness of the shared bathroom. But when I was trying to get an early nights sleep, I was unable to as I could keep hearing other people's music with the radio on.

Comfortable, clean, well organised, some minor technical problems and a loud-ish pub next door
I spent 3 nights here alone in a single room. The room was small, and had in it a bed, a small chair, a TV, a sink, and a small table with a tray on it. On the tray were a glass and a mug, a teaspoon, a kettle, and some teabags/sugar/maybe coffee. There was a bathroom which was shared with 3 or 4 other rooms, and a south-facing window with a large windowsill.

happy. will return.
Good quality, contemporary style small room in victorian building with retained features; with all necessary for a short stay. Needed simple help to make the shower go - glad it was breakfast time ..someone available to ask. Breakfast was lovely - wide selection, fresh, help yourself, cheerful + helpful staff preparing and clearing. No fresh air in bedroom (wanted) but view across a large green was good. good location but was about 15 mins walk from station,5-10 to city centre. Slept well.Clean.
