Probably the comfiest bed I’ve stayed in away from home. Spacious room with all amenities needed. Ample parking. Good food. Friendly staff. Very dog friendly. Just needs an extractor fan in the bathroom.

From booking in to checking out everything was Fantastic.

Perfect little getaway in Rye

We stayed in one of the dog friendly cottage rooms (number 5) which was decorated beautifully and had a very comfortable bed. Plenty of on site parking and high quality breakfast included. Unlike some places that use the term dog friendly when they just tolerate dogs all the staff here clearly adore dogs and made us and our little pup feel so welcome, especially Amy who is such a credit to the hotel. A special mention also to Rosie who served us our breakfast excellent service!

Great location just far enough from the town centre so parking wasn't an issue, so basically easy from the moment we arrived. We'd booked in for Sunday lunch on arrival, the food and staff were perfect in every way, the pub had a lovely atmosphere too. Prices were very reasonable for such a lovely place. We stayed in one of the cottages in the courtyard, it was spotless and appealing. The bed was very big and very comfortable, our inclusive breakfast was amazing.At the price point, unbeatable
