The house is part of a medium size area with several other small apartments. It is a very secure area and the owner and his grandson live on site in 2 of the apartments. It was very convenient if you could needed anything. It was also nice to have secure parking spot. Mondo Cafe is also connected and the kids who work there were so nice and the food was great! Our dogs loved the large area to roam around. The last week we were there AC was installed in both bedrooms and wow what a difference it made at night since it was really warm at night. The house is a pretty large space and we felt right at home. There are no stairs to worry about and it’s very quiet. We stayed here for a month and had a great time!!! Jose was our main contact and he was a great help!!!

Loved Casa Reforma

We spent 3 weeks at Casa Reforma and had a wonderful stay. We especially enjoyed the large modern kitchen. The casa is beautifully decorated and charming. No air conditioning, but fans are provided for the bedrooms. The patio area is lovely. There are 2 parks nearby and within walking distance to the central district. Both Salvatore the owner and Jose who takes care of the place were lovely and super helpful. Minimal English but we got by with Google Translate and WhatsApp. Would definitely recommend.

Casa Reforma

We stayed at Casa Reforma for a week and thought it was great. The location on Reforma is within easy walking distance to the historical squares, parks, markets, galleries and restaurants. The area feels very safe. The casa is large and well appointed with comfortable furniture, nice rugs, art and a modern kitchen. There is a pleasant private outdoor shaded patio. There is no air conditioning but fans were provided in the bedrooms. As first time, linguistically challenged travelers to Oaxaca, we would have appreciated a map and a few recommendations of things to see and do but we sorted that out on our own. There is no English spoken here so communications were handled through What’s Ap and Google translate. There is an excellent coffee shop next door and a small supermarket just down the street for basic provisions. We recommend Casa Reforma.

A gem of a house

Everything about the place made it a comfortable stay. Kitchen, large bathroom (only one), beautiful grounds, original Oaxacan rugs, and special art work. We could walk everywhere and to a near-by park. Special.
