About this property

Clock Tower is a charming one bedroom apartment

Clock Tower is a charming one bedroom apartment boasting modern, contemporary comforts such as a wood burning stove and a roll top bath. Situated within the grounds of Netherby Hall, where you can roam the 32 acres, watching the wildlife and taking in the peace and tranquility of these beautiful surroundings.

Inside the apartment, exposed oak beams frame the well-equipped living accommodation with high ceilings creating a spacious and light ambience. The beams continue into the bedroom along with the generous bathroom with its luxurious roll top bath and large walk-in shower.
The apartment sits in 36 acres of parkland, where you can stroll across manicured lawns, enjoy a Victorian pleasure garden and walk through a walled garden that stretches for over an acre. The estate is nestled in north Cumbria, with spectacular views over the undulating landscape to the Scottish hills beyond. Glorious walks abound, including a path alongside the River Esk, a burbling brook that is beautifully clear.

The history of Netherby Hall dates back to Roman times, and parts of the grand house may even have been built using stones from a Roman fort. Beautifully decorated, the apartments and cottages are all thoroughly modern, with plenty of touches of 21st century luxury.

For larger groups, the neighbouring properties The Sir Walter Scott Apartment (sleeps four guests); Coach House (sleeps four guests); Engineer Apartment (sleeps two guests); Gardener's Cottage (sleeps four guests); Groom's Quarters Apartment (sleeps four guests); Independent Apartment (sleeps four guests); Middle Lodge (sleeps four guests) and Salutation Apartment (sleeps two guests) are also available to book within the grounds of Netherby Hall.
