Good value and right next door to where I wanted to be.

Convenient for many things - Good bus services to City Centre and nearby sports grounds. Rooms are good size and the availability of kitchens helps self catering. Tea and coffee in rooms is a great welcome.

Clean and convenient, but .....

River Rooms has been beautifully refurbished but is not a place for oldies like us. My wife would have found the stairs impossible. They are steep with a trip-hazard turn at the top and no handrail on the right hand side (going up). Kitchen is well equipped , but given that milk, and coffee etc. are provided the absence of mugs or cups is a mystery. There was a great variety of foodstuffs in the cupboards bit no indication as to whether they were for commununal use or belonged to residents.. The ensuite shower was clean and efficient but the size of the towels provided quite inadequate. It would be helpful therefore if the website gave fuller details so that potential guests might know what to expect. However, for £59 per night it was good value.

I was very impressed with the River Rooms, the loft room was very cosy with an ensuite, and I really appreciated having access to the kitchen and the touches like teas and coffees. Would definitely stay again.

Convenient location You really need to put privacy measures on the lower ground floor windows. I felt very vulnerable and had to have blinds down at all times. The room was very hot, and it was unsafe to open windows. Passers by could look in & other guests were trying to look into my room in the gap of the blind.

I’ve stayed 5 plus times and it’s the best place for value for money

Clean rooms plus great amenities, great water pressure on the shower, generous with coffee tea milk etc, really comfortable beds & nice linen. Plus there’s a really good Wetherspoons close by!

Comfort and Convenience in one package

As someone taking a late night drive for work up and down to Nottingham, having a nice, comfortable and relaxing space to come into is much appreciated. The room was very clean and tidy. Perfect place to get some good comfy rest for a long next day. If I can provide some minor notes for feedback. Some signs for directions to room locations would be helpful as I wandered around a bit trying to find my room not realising which doors I could go through.
