There are the Roman ruins (Vesuna museum), the Cathedral (St. Front), numerous museums, twice weekly local market (Wednesday and Saturday mornings), shops, bars and restaurants (great information on travel sites) and the caves of Tourtoirac. There is a variety of regional vineyards with wines from Bergerac, Cahors and Montbazillac, The region is renowned for its produce, namely walnuts, strawberries, apples and a vast array of products made from pork, duck and geese.
Beyond 80 km – Many more chateaux, the city of Bordeaux and the classical wine houses of the Bordeaux Region. There is Limoges known for its ceramics and beef.
