The Waverley Inn Apartments are an ideal base to explore the wonderful sights and scenery that the Highlands has to offer.

Inverness-Shire has something for everybody, why not take a trip on Loch Ness, a visit to Culloden battlefield or spend a day in Inverness exploring the shops and restaurants.

For the golfing enthusiast the local area is a haven with some of the best courses available at realistic rates, and if you fancy a real test the World famous Royal Dornoch Golf Club is just an hours drive and Nairn Links Golf Course is around a 30 minute drive. A trip on the Moray Firth where dolphin spotting takes place, see the bottle nose dolphins and their young cavorting in the Firth, a sight that will live in the memory forever is a short 15 min. drive.

Fancy a dram? Why not take a trip to the Tomatin or Glenmorangie distilleries, or further afield you can explore the famous Malt Whisky Trail.For those who don’t mind a little drive it will take you about 90 minutes to get to the Isle of Skye where there are many things to see an do, Skye is steeped in history and well worth a visit.

Fabulous Location

We loved our stay. Although the property is a little difficult to find we enjoyed our stay. The location is in the heart of the evening entertainment. We were informed of places providing some local entertainment which was lovely.. The place was clean and comfortable.

Location was great. Check in was complicated. The key for the apartment was a couple blocks away from the property. Apartment was not very clean. There was hair on the bed and shower. No extra blankets or extra towels provided. Very bare bones.

The location was great, if a little noisy. However, the Wi-Fi didn't work- the signal wasn't strong enough for us to connect. Only one of the 4 provided pots was actually induction capable. The sinks in the bathrooms are so tiny that washing your face in them is impossible. In fact, if you turned the water on full, it misses the sink entirely and hits you or the floor in front of the sink. Shower water pressure was good. The beds were very hard. The furniture in the common area was more worn than apparent in photos and the kitchen chairs were quite wobbly.

It was just OK

Quiet, plenty of space and privacy, BUT there was NO wifi - the router's reach ends at the front door of the apt; no hand towels or washcloths, no kitchen towels, no bath mat. Ensuite bath smells like a sewer, and beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Also kind of weird that there is no reception desk on site. You have to walk a couple of blocks and find the actual reception desk. It's a bit of a scavenger hunt.
