Au Coin du Feu is situated at the foot of the ski slopes that link Morzine with Avoriaz in the area of Les Prodains. We are across the piste from the main lift to Avoriaz (1800m) and 50 meters away from a beginners button lift which takes you to the cable car too. Your day finishes with a blue, red or black piste, straight into our back garden. Au Coin du Feu can sleep up to 52.

Au Coin du Feu (or "by the fireside") was named with the 4-sided fireplace in mind which is a central feature of this magnificent chalet. It is of Genuine Savoyarde design and combines modern comforts with a warm rustic charm. We are surrounded by Alpine pastures with plenty of space and stunning views. Amazing treks right on the door step with lots of tips and advise by Francesca and Paul.

There is a sauna, in house masseuse, outdoor hot tub, private bar, creche and games room. We have a fantastic team of qualified nannies to look after your little ones. We have 17 luxurious bedrooms including 11 specially designed family rooms. All are en-suite and are themed such as our Wedding Room, which has a four-poster bed and jacuzzi and our Riding Room, complete with old racing memorabilia! All bedrooms have bath or shower, washbasin and toilet. They also feature hair-driers, music players & telephones. With the exception of the Indian Room, every bedroom has either a balcony or access to the garden and terrace. Family rooms or children’s rooms have dvd players and all bedrooms include a selection of toiletries.

BEDROOM DESCRIPTIONS:

Family rooms for 4 to 6:
The Music room - A two bedroomed suite with a king size bed and a separate children’s bedroom with bunks. An additional bed is available in main bedroom if required and there is a large en-suite bathroom with bath. This room also has disabled facilities with ground floor access.
The Safari Suite - A two bedroomed family suite sleeping 4-6 people. The main bedroom has a double bed, cabin bed and option of additional single bed, the second bed has twin beds. Each room has it’s own en-suite bathroom, one with bath and one with shower.
The Toy room - Duplex family room with double bed on lower level, bunk beds and single bed on enclosed mezzanine.
The Winter room - Duplex family room with double bed on lower level and 3 single beds on an open mezzanine
The Sporting room - Compact bedroom with double bed and bunk beds. Bath with shower and separate loo.
The Riding room - Compact duplex family room with double bed on lower level and 2 single beds on a small mezzanine

The Oriental room, Savoyarde room & School room - Family room for 3 or triple room with double bed and single cabin bed with option of changing to 3 single beds.
The Irish room - Family room for 3 with double bed and single mezzanine bed
The Indian room - Double bedroom and separate single room. Has low ceiling across half the room but the bonus of a jacuzzi bath.

The Provencal, English, Garden & Marine rooms - Standard double bedrooms, which can be offered with a double bed or 2 single beds

Morzine is both lively, with many bars, restaurants and night clubs, and also has excellent facilities for children & families. The skiing covers 13 resorts with 228 ski lifts serving 650km of pistes, for all levels of skier. Summer: Morzine is one of the most popular summer alpine retreats in France. Sports include white water rafting, canyoning, rock climbing, hydospeeding, mountain biking, paragliding, high altitude trekking, and more. Less extreme sports include golf, tennis, horse riding and outdoor swimming pools and beautiful lakes for swimming. All sports are accompanied by one of our experienced staff and with qualified local guides. Lake Geneva is only half an hour away providing beaches, sailing, windsurfing and water skiing.
