A perfect post Honeymoon stay
My wife and I had a lovely stay, we'd just got back from our honeymoon so it was lovely to have a few more nights away closer to home before heading back to normality. We'd walked past the cottages a lot being silly local sonic was lovely to stay there.
The cottage gave us a brilliant sense of relax and unwind. It was the perfect size for the 2 of us and the view of the tarn was stunning. Everything was provided towels, utensils, even some coffee. The perfect stay.

Second visit
This was our second visit and it was everything we were expecting. Extremely well appointed accommodation. Very well equipped and in beautiful surroundings.
For a relaxing break it is hard to beat. Plenty of walks if the weather is kind. Good food and drink at the pubs in Castle Carrock and Talkin, plus the golf club which welcomes visitors, or the cafe at the end of the tarn.
Highly recommended
