Just a short walk from the village you will find Long Meg and her daughters, a stone circle from the bronze age and one of the finest in the north of England. Other local activities include, Hunsonby outdoor swimming pool open from April- September. Peaceful Break
Had a relaxing and very peaceful stay at Heron Cottage. The bed was really comfy and the area was so peaceful it made for a very relaxing break. Beautiful area away from the bustle of the nearby Lake District. Plenty to see and do in the area.
