Ivy Cottage is in a very quiet and peaceful area of Montrose mainly bungalows. The cottage is semi-detached to the owners family home. Enclosed garden. Full central heating. The cottage is all on one level. The main entrance has an access ramp. Large sunny dinning lounge with fitted kitchen, dishwasher, full size oven and grill, microwave and fridge freezer. Main bedroom has a king-sized bed, fitted wardrobes. Second bedroom has one single bed and bunk bed's. Third bedroom has bunk beds. The kitchen is supplied with all crockery, cutlery, glasses, pans etc. Guests have the free use of separate owners utility room which includes washing machine and dryer. Free Wi-Fi in all rooms. Smart 65" TV with Netflix and X-Box Games Console.

Montrose City Center with local friendly Pubs and Restaurants just a short walk away. Montrose Golf Links one of the oldest in the world and Montrose Beach are 15 min walk away. With Edzell Golf Course only a short drive away. As well as Montrose Beach we have Lunan Bay Beach which is popular with surfers and walkers just a short drive away. The Angus Glens are perfect for hill walking and cycling. The North Esk River is famous for salmon and sea trout fishing. Not to far away are the Grampian Mountains, Cairngorms National Park, Dunnotar and Glamis Castles, Cities of Aberdeen and Dundee within easy reach by trains leaving from Montrose rail station.

Fantastic cottage in a beautiful town

Clean and well equipped, this cottage is only minutes from convienences and the beach. Michael was ever so welcoming and helpful.

Cottage review

The stay was amazing. I really enjoyed the stay, the house itself was amazing. It was clean comfortable. I also really loved the garden it was extremely clean and amazing to look at. As I already said AMAZING except for one thing which was, there was only one bathroom and it was in the master bedroom which was a little problem but didnt cause a massive hustle. Loved it
