Beautifully decorated, very cosy. Excellent location for major museums, the beach & a number of great restaurants. A nice welcome pack of breakfast essentials was provided. Highly recommended.

Restful break

Slightly disappointed that the television had very bad reception. The property was lovely and clean, small but space was adequate and had everything we needed for a quiet holiday. The stairs were very steep but manageable. The location close to shops and amenities was ideal.

Hi Elizabeth - many thanks for your feedback. Regarding your comment about the TV, there is freesat available and this is found in the source settings and works well. Freesat is the main option we have at this property due to its location being in the Lyme valley and close to nearby properties that block usual terrestrial signal. Thanks for staying with us.

Lovely cottage in excellent location

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage so conveniently located by the beach, restaurants and local craft shops. We were surprised how clean it was and the overall high standard of the property with everything you need during a family holiday. Our main worry was parking but there are quite a few car parks nearby plus a two hour parking available just a few stones’ throw from the cottage. The communication with the owners was also brilliant. We highly recommend it!

Charming little cottage just steps from the beachside attractions. The cottage's "backyard" is a creek that provides a soothing acoustical background during your stay there. All the components have been tastefully updated from its previous incarnation as a fisherman's cottage (or perhaps as a budding paleontologist's lab) so you have access to modern creature comforts, but do note that the rooms are very small and the staircase to the bedrooms are probably not suitable for guests with ambulatory challenges. But this is a glorious place to stay if you find yourself in the heart of the Jurassic Coast, which is, deservedly, a world heritage site.

Beautiful house in a fantastic location

This is our 3rd holiday to Lyme and this lovely quaint cottage served us perfectly for our family of 4 and our dog. It’s in a great location, had everything we needed, was very clean and beautifully furnished and the host Charlie was extremely helpful and informative before and during our stay. Everything you need is on the doorstep including the beach! We will definitely return to Coombe Cottage again. Thank You to Charlie.
