Visit my apartment with an amazing oceanfront view at The Pelican Grand Beach Resort, a luxury boutique condo hotel. With the charm of old Florida grandeur, our 7th floor suite overlooks the Atlantic Ocean with fantastic ocean and coastline views. There is a zero entry pool (no steps) which is great for kids or the elderly, Fort Lauderdale's only Lazy River ride complete with inner tubes, and direct beach access to a 500 foot stretch of semi-private beach. Just step off the veranda and put your toes in the sand! We offer complimentary pool towels, lounge chairs & umbrellas at the beach, as well as room-service and poolside bar&grille service. The sleeping area has a large flatscreen television, a desk to use as a workstation, alarm clock, Keurig coffee-maker, & 2 Queen Size Beds with pillow top mattresses. The separate living room/sun room comes with a small dining table, Queen-size convertible sleeper sofa, big comfy chair, another flatscreen TV, microwave, mini-fridge, blender, and a balcony with chairs to enjoy the fantastic views while overlooking the azure waters of the Atlantic Ocean!

We offer maidservice upon checkout only, however if you desire additional maidservice it can be arranged for an extra $35 per visit. The check-out cleaning fee and an 12% occupancy tax will be added to your nightly rate. Valet Parking is $49/day and is subject to change.

Beach front, unit needs deep clean, tired complex

Lovely idea of beach front complex. Building tired with broken elevators, heater broken on pool then broken on lazy river. Ran out of hot water in shower with head full of shampoo. Only out ten minutes but those were feeezing ten minutes for me. Just poor timing for me. Unit floors, baseboard, bathroom grout, area rugs all filthy. Must wear foot covering at all times. Was vacuumed but surfaces need steam clean.

Wonderful stay

We had stayed at Pelican Grand 2 years ago and loved it. We were planning a return and found this great unit that was identical to the unit we had stayed in last time but at a significantly lower cost than booking through the hotel. The only difference was no daily maid service which we didn’t need. All other amenities were identical at a significant savings. Our only suggestion would be to freshen up the carpeting. We would definitely stay there again!

FLL vacation

The loacation was fantastic, facilities such as lazy river were enjoyed by my children. However the following things require attention. 1. The description does not match with the actual property. For example there is no dinning area, just a small table for two people. The space is really small for six prople. 2. Update and broken things: Except shower everything needs update. New paint, better HVAC and electricals. Hand shower leaks some water. Problems with toilet flush. Blinds are not working, we could not get effective room darkening. 3. Technology: Updates on technology side, no USB ports or multi charge outlets. 4. Kitchenette: very limited, at least some silverware and plates would have been helpful. Microwave could need upgrade too. 5. Hotel Elevators were broken

This Boutique Hotel is one of only a few Luxury Resorts located directly on the sand in Ft. Lauderdale. No crossing the A1A 4 lane Highway to get to the beach. It is one of the most well cared for properties, with a beautiful oceanfront restaurant that offers al fresco dining, a bar & grill, business center, fitness center, meeting rooms, a Lazy River pool, an Ice Cream Shoppe, and understated elegance throughout. Perfect for families with children, honeymoon couples, cruise departures, or business travelers. It's close and convenient to the Fort Lauderdale Airport, Port Everglades Cruise Port, and also close to Las Olas Blvd and many other sights and attractions.

What makes this property unique

We enjoy dining while watching the waves crash on the beach, having a cup of coffee in the rocking chairs on the veranda, watching the sunrise over the ocean from our balcony. The Sunday Champagne Brunch is magnificent, and the only one directly on the beach! The staff at The Pelican Grand are the most courteous and friendly you will find anywhere, offering the utmost in guest services.
