"De Druivelaar" or the grape vine is a charming mid-century house in a quiet and residential area that is well-connected with Bruges center, the coast and the Flemish cities. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully-equiped kitchen , a bright dining room, two lounges, and a lovely garden. There is ample free unlimited parking right in front of the house and a bus stop at 30m can take you to the center of Bruges in 10'. Bruges train station is 1 km away, E40 to the coast, Ghent or Brussels nearby.

This is a very cozy and spacious house, ideal for a vacation or a weekend with family and friends, both small and large groups!

The ground floor contains a fully equipped kitchen, a large open dining and living room including a large dining table, two lounges and one sofa. On the ground floor there is also a shower room with toilet and lavatory. First floor includes two bedrooms and a bathroom. On the second floor there are another two bedrooms.

"De Druivelaar" has a sunny garden and terrace. The townhouse was built in the 60s and has numerous stylish details from that time, such as the round doors, the wooden frameworks, the "retro" tiles, the yellow brick facade with engraved wooden window frames and the wooden arch in the living room. This makes it a very charming and unique house to spend a holiday at!

It has all the necessary amenities: fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, lavatory in every room, garden with BBQ and all necessary garden furniture, board games, card games, TV, numerous books and guides, etc. There is also a very good Internet connection.

Fresh sheets and towels are provided. A washing machine and dryer are also available.

Wir haben unser langes Familienwochenende hier verbracht. Im schönen großen Haus war für alle genug Platz. Leider war die Lage doch etwas weiter vom Zentrum entfernt, so dass für einige nur Taxi oder Bus eine Lösung war.

Great place to stay in suburb of Bruges
Very nice comfortable house, 10-15min walk from train station and 30min walk from centre of Bruges. Parking no hassle, good bakery 2min walk away. All good! A little traffic noise from road outside, but not too bad. Check in super-easy, host very friendly and helpful - all in all highly recommended.

Es handelt sich um ein sehr geräumiges, älteres Haus mit eigenem Charme, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt gut geeignet. Das Haus liegt etwas außerhalb mit guter Anbindung ans Zentrum. Es gibt auch alle möglichen Läden und Restaurants in der Nähe (empfehlenswert: "la famiglia"). Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Large family- perfect spot
This is a fabulous home away from home. There is so much space, comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and sinks in every bedroom turned out to be a wonderful surprise feature. The home is literally steps from the bus stop that will take you right to the main railway/bus station. My family often walked to or from the station as well. The area is quiet for sleeping. Has a nearby bakery, restaurants and other essentials. Annemie was an equally wonderful host. She was easy to communicate with (before and during our stay). She provided extra baking supplies when I told her I hoped to do some Christmas baking while there. The house was nicely decorated for Christmas also. Our luggage was lost and Annemie gave us suggestions for where to go for good clothes shopping and even brought us a few sweaters , toothbrushes and toothpaste. The ONLY thing I would say is if you are from North America and are used to central heating - bring slippers as the floors are much colder than we are used too! I would happily stay here again.
