We stayed over the holidays and took full advantage of the great butcher shop across the street and local bakery a couple of blocks away. It was a nice quiet neighborhood with convenient free parking. We could walk downtown in 20min or easily grab a bus. The bathroom and kitchen were modern and the sleeping arrangements were comfortable .

Not family friendly. Very steep stairs. No A/C with no screens upstairs so mosquitoes and spiders came into rooms. Host wasn’t very accommodating when we asked for fans. Told us to open windows. Also had to pay some additional tax fee.
Super property, clean and well equipped. Fabulous location just a 10 min walk into the centre of Bruges. On street parking for which the host kindly arranged a permit for us. We loved the recommendation in the book and really enjoyed Restaurant Cezar which provided a welcome break amongst the Christmas crowds. The stairs are steep in the property which is typical for a house of this type, but maybe just note this if you have children or anybody be less mobile with you. The property is near to the railway line but the noise didn’t bother us and we could not hear the trains in the rear of the property at all. The proximity to the railway is a plus as you have lots of nearby options to hop on a train and explore other areas. Bedrooms were great and there were lots of options for sleeping with the bunk beds and single beds provided to the top floor bedroom. Beds were comfy. Would definitely recommend.
This rental is an amazing stay. It is immaculately clean, and has comfortable beds. The host also leaves helpful handouts to include maps and recommendations.
The property is a comfortable walk for those used to it or able. Older folks might dislike how far the distance is from town.
At no fault to the host- the neighbors are very sensitive to noise. I recommend renting this property if you’re looking to have a laid back and relaxed weekend.
