About this property

Large villa and private heated (optional) swimming pool. Beautiful surrounding.

Our beautiful villa, Casa os Netos, is located within the iconic Penina Resort on the outskirts of Alvor and is perfect for relaxing in the sun with friends or family.

The villa has a large private salt water swimming pool and extensive gardens. We have a built in BBQ and an outdoor terrace - perfect for al fresco dining.

Equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday including fibre internet, a pool table and an outdoor ping pong table - perfect for keeping everyone entertained.

The villa sleeps a maximum of 12 guests. All bedrooms have new air conditioning units and access to either a private bathroom or en-suite.

There is a large spacious lounge, an indoor dining room and a games room with pool table. We also have several seating areas including a large family dining table with 12 chairs that can be used outside on the sun terrace or in the sun room.

The villa is equipped with all of the things that you need to feel at home including a large fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, espresso machine, kettle, toaster, fibre internet and cable TV.

The villa has private parking within its gated grounds.

Price includes Portugal Tourist Tax - please ensure you select the right number of guests.

From October 2025 - Brand new pool heating system so you can enjoy the pool all year round at a water temperature of 29.5 degrees celsius.
(Pool heating is an additional charge payable locally and requires pre-booking)

The villa is perfectly located to explore all the Algarve has to offer. We recommend hiring a car to make the most of your holiday. The nearest beach is 10 minutes away, the town centre of Alvor is 15 minutes away, and Portimao city centre is 15 minutes away.

Paradise Villa

Tanita's place was better than we imagined. The space was more than sufficient for our group of 12. It was a pleasure to come home to this beautiful villa everyday. It was spotless. The landscaping was immaculate. The pool was so much fun. It is located on a golf course so I had the opportunity to do lots of walking and running around the property. I highly recommend this villa if you plan on visiting the Algarve region. Thank you Monica for welcoming us at check-in and assisting at checkout and driving us to the hotel up the road for an ATM.

Great villa made for a fantastic fortnight

Right from booking the communication process with the owner was fantastic. The house was as described and the pool room and PlayStation was great entertainment for the kids when it was hot in the middle of the day. It had the little things that make a difference but are not always available when you get to Villa’s; the WiFi was good, 2 fridges, plenty of sunbeds, towels etc, aircon in the rooms was good. We were worried about the Saltwater pool but now actually think it’s better than Chlorine. Only slight downside is the distance from the town but we knew that when booking it and the upside from it was that it was quiet and we got the extra space we wouldn’t otherwise have had.

Nice and beautiful location with a satisfying house

We had a lovely holiday (10 days) in this suitable house. Large enough for 4 couples and 2 children. The house is located close enough to the beaches and restaurants, hence it is a perfect base to explore the environment. The communication with the owner and the organisation was swift, friendly and to our satisfaction. The (heated) swimming pool and the garden are the highlights of this property. Proper climate control in the house/bedrooms has been experienced. All in all, especially in relation to the relative friendly rental fee, this house is a very good choice to have an exclusive holiday with a large group of people with enough privacy. Some renovations (recommendation from our side), especially inside the house will be required in the near future. An outside shower near the pool plus some extra umbrellas would be nice as well. One excellent suggestion (not the cheapest one) for a good restaurant with very friendly people serving, where you can eat fresh fish, is Restinga near a nice beach.

Loved the villa as a base for our fantastic holiday. Tanita was always available if there was any information we needed.. Loved hearing the excitement of the parachutists, could hear their chutes open from the villa..Would definitely go back. !!! Charlie.
