This is a clean, tidy and homely apartment just 5 minutes drive from Ponta do Sol. The communication with the owners was excellent throughout the booking process and stay. We locked ourselves by mistake and the owner kindly came around within minutes to open up for us! There is space for a car outside. The rooftop is also amazing, offering a spectacular view of the coastline and the sea. Nearby there are banana plantations and a small group of houses. The property is on the road-side, but everything goes quiet relatively early in the evening. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bed comfortable and there's space enough for at least a week if not more's stay without getting claustrophobic. Highly recommended, especially for travellers hoping to get out of Funchal and into the paradisal island of Madeira!
