Wonderful, Private Retreat!
Our group of five friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this really lovely, pristinely clean, and well-equipped villa! The location is absolutely perfect for exploring both up and down the island, and offers total privacy along with spectacular views. It’s an easy trip from and to the airport as well.
The gated, air-conditioned villa is spacious and well laid out over two floors. The upper floor has two bedrooms, living room, dining area, kitchen, one full plus a half bath, and a covered terrace overlooking the pool which wraps around one side by the kitchen. The kitchen has everything you would need should you choose to cook at home. There are some great restaurants and tavernas nearby, if you don’t wish to cook or barbecue.
The lower floor has one bedroom, one full bath, and a lounge area. The lower floor kitchen wasn’t operable while we were there. The lower floor is accessible from the pool deck only, currently.
An outdoor kitchen features a charcoal barbecue and lawn dining table. The pool and surrounding patio are phenomenal for gathering and relaxing. There are citrus and other fruit trees around the perimeter of the pool and driveway. The views from the entire back side of the villa are truly stunning.
No need to overpack (we did) as there’s a washing machine and drying racks on the terrace.
Roberto and his nearby neighbor/helper are very responsive – quick to answer questions or give assistance when necessary. We recommend Villa Ionian Blue without hesitation!
