River Cottage is a 4 bedroom detached family holiday home which is situated on the edge of the River Thames in the Award winning Lower Mill Estate in the Cotswolds. The property is set within a gated community with an outdoor heated pool (seasonal), tennis court, and miles of cycle and walking trials for people of all ages to enjoy.

This lovely and well proportioned Holiday Home provides a welcoming Entrance Hall, downstairs WC and a separate Utility Room with a washing machine. There is a brand new fully fitted kitchen with an open plan dining room which leads into the cosy living area. The living room is fitted with a traditional integral wood burning stove and classic board games for the family to enjoy. Two sets of french doors open onto the rear BBQ area with a covered canape for alfresco dining overlooking the River Thames. River Cottage opens up to a rich and varied selection of wildlife and you are sure to have our forest friends visiting your private patio during your stay.

We had a lovely time in Lower Mill. I especially liked the three bathrooms. Jennifer, was really helpful providing suggestions on where to eat and where to take the children. They liked the heated outdoor swimming pool.

Relaxing Family Getaway

This cottage is exactly as described and was a very comfortable and well-equipped base for our family to enjoy the Lower Mill Estate and surrounding Cotswolds area. Would definitely return!

Great space for 6, great location

The house was spacious enough for our group of 6, very comfortable, well appointed. We made use of the deck for some al fresco dining which was great. The Mill Estate is a great place to unwind with lots of activities for kids and adults.

Great stay in a lovely location

We had a lovely time staying at river cottage. It was well equipped and the location was great with lots to see and do. The host Jennifer was very helpful and provided us with lots of information regarding things to see and do and was always quick to respond to any queries. Would definitely recommend river cottage and look forward to staying again some day.
