Apartment located by the sea, in a modern building, facing the Atlantic Ocean, in Vila Nova de Gaia-Porto-Foz do Douro River in Northern Portugal. Situated in first line of sea, in Lavadores Beach, is the ideal place for a holiday or short stay and also a beautiful place to live.

Excellent sea view from the living room and kitchen, both with a balcony where you can sunbathe and admire the magnificent sunsets every day. The balconies face West Southwest, North wind sheltered, with magnificent sun exposure.

This 2 bedroom apartment sleeps 4 and is almost new, with very few signs of use and newly furnished. Has a spacious living room and kitchen, both with balcony facing the sea, where you can relax, sunbathe and admire the beautiful sunset every day. The living room is equipped with comfortable and modern sofas, has a 42-inch Plasma TV, cable television with 100 channels and free wireless Internet access, 50 Mb/s. The spacious kitchen is equipped with all necessary cooking equipment and utensils.

The 2 rooms are equipped with king size beds and super comfortable bagged Springs mattresses with a layer of premium memory foam, to allow a deep rest and relaxing. 2 bathrooms with WC and shower and one with Jacuzzi tub.

Conveniently equipped with clothing, towels, all utensils and equipment needed for 6 people.

Central heating.

2 new aluminum bikes, full suspension, for free of charge use.

The condo is very comfortable, well-equipped and beautifully located with a view of the sea. The underground parking is convenient, and there are plenty of restaurants & cafes within walking distance. We especially enjoyed the Casa Blanca. The manger is friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with.

Has potential - with a deep clean ( washing machine was mouldy ) and attention to interior decorating , it would be more memorable. As it was, we found it comfortable and adequate.

I usually welcome criticism, but this is too much! I can’t understand why finding the apartment comfortable and adequate, as you mentioned, you gave it only 2 stars. You also mentioned that to be memorable I shall remake the decoration, perhaps to match your old text, of your sixties, that obviously is different of mine. You saw the decoration on line before you made the reservation, so why you did it? There are plenty of other apartments where you could fulfill your good old taste. By the way, there is no mold in the washing machine and the apartment is always well cleaned, as all the comments that you can find can testify. What a pity that you and your comments aren’t adjusted to reality!

Outstanding Apartment with amazing view

From arrival to departure we (2 senior couples) were thrilled with the apartment, the ocean view and convenience to restaurants, groceries and transportation. Restaurants and groceries are available within walking distance. Public buses to Porto are available on the same street some 5 - 10 minutes walk from The apartment. The apartment was spotless and kitchen is well equipped. Communication with Marcos was excellent.

Modern apartment on seafront

Comfortable apartment on first floor of a modern apartment block near bars and restaurants and 10 minutes by car from a large shopping mall. The apartment is quite well equipped for a holiday stay and has a bathroom and a separate shower room. It should be noted, however, that the apartment is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems due to the beds and settee being very low and the configuration of the bathroom and shower room. There is a large parking space in the underground carpark with easy access. The apartment faces the sea although the view of the sea is partially blocked by trees on the seafront across the road. Although the owners advertisement states that the apartment shows little signs of wear and tear this may have been true some years ago but some of the furniture now needs to be renewed and the bathroom had some black mould around the bath. The owner did mention that he was comsidering replacing the bath with a shower which could help to make the apartment more disabled friendly.

Lage, parken, Blick aufs Meer TOP, allerdings waren wir mit der Sauberkeit überhaubt nicht zufrieden ( sehr oberflächig gerreinigt). ( Terrassefenster voller Fingerabdrücke( wir mussten es reinigen) , Stühle schmutzig mit Flecken, Küchengeräte nicht sauber ( zB. Toaster) mit reste vom Vorgänger. Wir haben selber noch etwas nachgereinigt um uns einigermaßen wohl zu fühlen. Bettwäsche war sauber . Es ist Schade weil die Wohnung viel Potential hat und in Top Lage ist- aber Sauberkeit geht so nicht

Wir haben in der Ferienwohnung nichts vermisst. Optimale Lage am Meer und nach Porto ist es nicht weit. Für zwei Personen hat man mehr als ausreichend Platz. Gastronomie ist fusslæufig gut zu erreichen.Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage ist wertvoll, wenn man am Wochenende anreist.

Très bon accueil du propriétaire. L'appartement est très propre, très bien équipé, moderne, tout le nécessaire est à notre disposition. Face à la mer comme indiqué. Il est possible d'aller sur une petite plage juste en bas, en face de l'immeuble. La grande plage est à 1km. Restaurants à proximité et commerce alimentaire à 15 minutes à pied. Merci.

Vue superbe !

Appartement au 1er étage, avec 2 terrasses, offrant une superbe vue directe sur l'océan. Situé dans un quartier très agreable et calme, idéal pour faire des balades a pieds, a vélo sur les pistes longeant la plage. Le centre de Porto est accessible en bus (comptez une petite heure) ou Uber pour 5 €. L'appartement est très agreable avec un équipement complet.
