Beautiful rustic Trullo in a wonderful private environment. Ensuite to main bedroom quite small and bed in that room in need of replacement as sagging uncomfortably. Lack of capacity to accept payment via credit card proved cumbersome and costly. Otherwise wonderful place to stay.

Lovely home in a great location!

We loved our stay in this beautiful house! It is a fabulous trullo constructed home with all the amenities one would want. The pictures do a good job of showing the property, but the actual is so much better – beautiful home! The pool and jet tub were delightful after days of sightseeing and were well maintained every other day. The kitchen is convenient and adjoined the rear patio for meals in the cool mornings, and we enjoyed home cooked meals on the patio each evening. The bedrooms and living area were spacious and very comfortable. The location is ideal in the olive orchard to give you the country feel, yet is close to town. The town of San Michele Salentino is just a short walk down a narrow olive orchard road where we enjoyed morning cappuccino in the square and to pick up groceries (the DOK Supermercati is wonderful). Elisa was a gracious host who was extremely responsive to all inquiries. We highly recommend this house and the central location for visiting all of the Puglia Region!

Très beau séjour

La maison est superbe,piscine,jardin magnifique. Elisa à répondu à nos attentes de façon très ponctuelle et ces conseils nous ont été très appréciables. L'endroit est très calme. Petit point à souligner les verres manquent un peu à partir de 5 personnes. A recommander sans hésitation

Wonderful beautiful Puglia vacation home

Beautiful clean and well appointed property. In the middle of olive groves and equi-distant to key locations in Puglia- Lecce, Monopoli, Taranto, Aerobello. You must have a car. Owners very accommodating and responsive. A true feel for the region. Loved it!

Quiet Country Retreat

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay in San Michele Salentino. The property is as advertised. It's a lovely home with plenty of space for two people, or two couples with smaller rooms for children. The area is quiet and surrounded by olive groves, fig, pomegranate, and almond trees. The pool was well maintained and wonderful on hot days. We enjoyed bicycling the narrow lanes and cooking with the ingredients we purchased in San Michele. The local market (DOK) was a great source for everything we needed. Elisa and her family were available to help with anything we needed, including getting the bicycle tires fixed. We visited Ostuni and other small towns in the area but really enjoyed relaxing "at home". This was a great stay.

Mauvais rapport qualité prix

Points positifs : Elisa est hyper réactive et prévenante elle tente de répondre à toutes les demandes dans les meilleurs délais. La localisation est bonne, elle permet de visiter les principaux sites alentours. L’´exterieur de la maison est très beau, le site a énormément de charme. Une douche chaude à l’extérieur permet de prendre sa douche sous les étoiles. Les points négatifs : Nous étions 9, or la maison ne peut en réalité accueillir que 6 personnes. 2 des chambres pour enfants (qui n’accueillent qu’un enfant) sont communiquantes entre elles par le plafond. Les literies sont extrêmement durs, pas du tout confortables. Rien est adapté dans la cuisine pour cuisiner pour 8 ( pas de grille pain, pas de matériel de cuisine classique, cafetière italienne permettant de faire 2 cafés à la fois... ). Le fond de la piscine se décolle. Les chaises longue autour de la piscine sont presque toutes cassés. Le jacouzzi est un bain à remous. Les tables/chaises mises à disposition sont faites pour l’intérieur et en très mauvais état. La lumière de l’extérieur ne permet pas de dîner face à la piscine. Et celle de l’arriere de la maison est froide, sans aucun charme. Une grossière ampoule au milieu d’une structure en métal qui accueillera un jour une jolie vigne. En conclusion bcp de potentiel mais aujourd’hui pas du tout en ligne avec le prix demandé .

Je suis vraiment désolé que vous n'ayez pas été satisfait au point de donner une étoile sur 5. Je vais prendre en considération toutes vos indications, sans toutefois partager ce que vous avez dit. Les photos correspondent exactement à l'état actuel de la villa et si vous avez imaginé quelque chose de différent, cela ne dépend pas de la villa. La maison a deux lits doubles, un lit simple et deux lits simples et peut donc accueillir confortablement 7 personnes. A ceux-ci s'ajoutent deux canapés-lits bien spécifiés pouvant accueillir deux personnes supplémentaires! Le linge a été acheté cette année et est en satin. Tout le reste est clairement visible sur les photos, mais pour moi, il est important que les clients soient satisfaits. Outre les spécifications discutables, je prendrai en considération les notes que vous me ferez à la lumière de celles qui sont toutes les autres critiques qui me donnent 5 étoiles.

Beautiful house with a trulli in a lovely quiet location!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this place. Following the sad passing of my dad who should have been coming on this trip for his and my mums Ruby Wedding anniversary, we decided to still come here as a family as we knew dad would have wanted us to come. We explained this situation to Elisa who was very understanding of the situation and very compassionate. We can not thank Elisa enough for her help and communication during our stay. She was very understanding when we arrived later than planned, and she helped us out very much when Ryanair lost my aunties bag. Communication was via Whatsapp so it was regular but also not intrusive. On arrival the owners had a welcoming gift of some local delicacies and a bottle of wine which was very much appreciated. The house/trulli is absolutely beautiful and clean with a lovely pool and jacuzzi, and we had a very chilled out week which was much needed. San Michele Salentino is very closeby and there were a couple of bikes at the property which we took full use of to cycle to town for a few groceries and a quick drink! There is also a decent sized supermarket in the town so we drove there most days to buy food. We took a day trip to Alberebello, the trulli city which was very beautiful. All in all we had a much needed chill out following a very difficult time and this place was absolutely perfect for it. I would recommend this place to anyone! Thankyou again Elisa for your wonderful hospitality!

Maison très agréable à vivre, très bien fournie (ensemble du linge de maison, produits d’entretien, consommables). Très bon accueil des propriétaires qui sont disponibles avant et pendant le séjour et prêts à rendre des services pour faciliter les vacances. Extérieur très grand et soigné. Piscine entretenue et nettoyée régulièrement lors de notre présence. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons vivement cette location
