About this property

Bright and modernly furnished one-bedroom apartment with balcony, a few steps away from the Modern Art Museum and Mercato delle Erbe.

This modern one-bedroom apartment, located on the fourth floor of a building with a lift, opens to a bright living room with access to a balcony, furnished with an open plan and well-equipped kitchen fitted also with a coffee machine, a dining table with chairs, a double sofa bed, a TV and a desk. The bedroom comes with a queen size bed and an open closet. A full bathroom with a large shower completes the apartment. At guests’ disposal there is also free Wi-Fi and heating.

*Please note that, due to renovation works undergoing in the building, it is not currently possible to access the balcony.

Please be informed that the city centre is a limited-traffic zone, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.

Bologna is a city of art, culture and trade. In the city centre there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna can surprise you in every season.

Baustelle

Die Außenfassade wurde saniert, worüber wir vorher nicht informiert wurden. Wir haben den Balkon nicht benutzen können, nicht einmal der Blick aus dem Fenster war möglich. Wir wurden morgens durch Baulärm (Schlagbohrer) geweckt, sowie durch Bauarbeiter, die vor dem Fenster auf ihrem Gerüst herumgelaufen sind. Diese waren allerdings sehr freundlich und haben die Klimaanlage repariert. Hätten wir das vorher gewusst, hätten wir die Wohnung nicht gebucht.

No air conditioning and 30 degrees Celsius

This property is under construction and the air conditioning had been off for some time. They had brought in fans as a possible remedy but the space was warm and humid. The average Temperature was 30 celsius. There was scaffolding and tarps covering the whole side of the building. We could not stay. Wonderful Italy was not helpful regarding a substitute placement and VRBO was unresponsive to miltiple attempt to contact them.

A lovely apartment with great location

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable and we didn’t have to walk far to get to the old town. A lovely cafe nearby was handy!
