As the name suggests this former dairy adjoins the main farmhouse on a modern dairy farm, by the stunning Cumbrian Coast. The Old Dairy retains some character from the original building which the owners have complimented with stylish furnishings throughout. It is situated half a mile from the sand and pebble beach in the village of Crosscanonby, in an elevated position, with superb views to the sea and Scottish Hills. The pretty seaside village of Allonby is 3 miles, with pubs, shops, play ground and cafés. The larger harbour town of Maryport is a similar distance, with more amenities, and there are many other towns and villages along the coastline to explore. The Lake District National Park is a half hour drive, with stunning scenery and great walking opportunities, or the beach is suitable for those seeking something less strenuous.
