Family post-xmas break
We wanted to visit Cambridge and nearby areas and the house was well located for that. The house was nice and spacious which was great for the kids to play and explore. Having a park right on its doorstep was a bonus. The hosts were very responsive and we encountered no problems at all before, during or after our stay. I'd recommend staying at this house for anyone interested in a lovely family break in Cambridgeshire.

Stunning property great location
The house is so cozy and charming. The kitchen was perfect for cooking for friends who lived in a nearby town. The playground access was perfect for our daughter and the hot tub was great after long days into Cambridge and London. We took walks by the water and into town. The hosts were so welcoming and communicative. Great place to stay if you are looking to relax with your family or friends.

Lovely homely accommodation
Beautiful spacious house in a lovely village with hot tub. Very comfortable. Yummy hamper on arrival (even the dog was spoilt!!) We were three families of ten with two children, lots of games and a play park very close. Sylvia was a very good host and was easily contactable. Lots of places to visit in the local area. We had a fantastic family time.

My husband and I purchased this property in 2016 when it was a two bedroom bungalow! In 2017 we were featured on Channel 4's BUILDING THE DREAM where we rebuilt this bungalow in to a large 4 bedroom property.
We love it so much and decided whilst we were holidaying in the UK this year 2021 that none of the 4* and even 5* hotels were as luxurious as home and on a couple of occasions found ourselves checking out early just to come home! So that gave me the idea to offer it out to others to experience it.
We live in the most beautiful village which has easy access to London, Cambridge, Peterborough and other beautiful market towns.
Our property overlooks a beautiful park which has a childrens play area. It is also a 5 minute walk from the river where you can enjoy relaxing walks or the adventurous can kayak or paddleboard you could even hire a boat and enjoy the beautiful locks
The local pubs are within 2-3 minutes staggering distance and on those days when you fancy a cinema trip it 5 minutes up the road.(drive)
