As you enter the Barn you walk into the open plan living area which makes for a great social space where everyone can be part of the conversation no matter what they are doing. The kitchen is well appointed and offers plenty of space to prepare even the largest of family meals.
Upstairs, the first room you come across is the family bathroom offering a bath with shower over, this is next to the good-sized master bedroom. Further along the hall is a twin bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet. There is also a quiet external seating area.
One of the main benefits of this property is that it is only 2 minutes’ walk from Ulverston town centre. Ulverston is a beautiful market town with cobbled streets and a wealth of shopping options. The town has remained mainly unaffected by the ingress of major high street brands so still offers a rich variety of independent gift and clothing shops. There is a good selection choice of pubs, cafés and restaurants and with regular festivals and events there is always something of interest to see and do. Ulverston attractions include the Laurel and Hardy Museum, which is within walking distance, the Retro Roxy cinema and Hoad Monument. Ulverston is the ideal gateway to the Lake District with the World-Famous Lake Windermere only 15 minutes’ drive and the charming Lake villages of Bowness and Windermere a little further on. There is truly something for everyone within a short travelling radius.
For outdoor enthusiasts there are numerous options if you like water sports, walking or cycling, or for the more adventurous you can choose activities like High Ropes adventures or Segway. For families you have wildlife parks and aquariums, for culture vultures there are Beatrix Potter and Wordsworth attractions or a choice of museums, stately homes and gardens. Whatever your passion, from Michelin-starred restaurants to horse racing, you’ll find it within easy reach of this property.
