We are Charles Alexander.

We’re a husband and wife team who have lived on the Fylde Coast for over 30 years. We answer to two very important boys, whose middle names are Charles and Alexander. They are our little helpers, our entertainers, our inspiration to leave the rat-race behind, and our real reason for establishing Charles Alexander Short Stay.

A short walk you will find yourself in the very centre of Blackpool, with its heady mix of affordable bars and restaurants which cater for all budgets. The town also prides itself on having a very good shopping district with all the high-street brands you expect plus, just off the beaten track, you will find a large mix of independent shops and boutiques.

The town itself has a diverse nature and brings together all sections of the community, with places only too happy to welcome differing groups. You'll find loads of information on this at the local Tourist Information Centre opposite the Tower - about a 10-minute walk from the apartments.

Then there's the world-famous Blackpool Promenade - stretching six miles from Starr Gate in the south to Bispham and Cleveleys in the north - it has magnificent views of the Irish Sea and the Lake District if the weather is good - which is quite a lot!
