Bright apartment located in the elegant “Borgo San Rocco” buildings, in the heart of Bologna. Provided with high speed Wi-Fi, it is ideal for remote workers.

This apartment, located on the first floor reachable by lift, opens to a bright living area with a double sofa bed, a TV and a dining area. Partially separated there is a well-equipped and open-plan kitchen, fitted with an oven, a microwave and a kettle.
The bedroom is modern, furnished with a queen size bed and a spacious wardrobe. A full bathroom with shower completes the apartment, also coming with a washing machine and a dryer.
At guests’ disposal there are comforts such as high speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating.

Bologna is a city of art, culture and trade. Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theatres, characterised by almost 40 kms of porticoes. In the city centre there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna can surprise you in every season.

Great location!

A great stay, in a great location. Easy walk to the train station and close to Piazza Maggiore. Very good communication with rental company. Nice updated bathroom and comfortable bed. Kitchen is adequately stocked. We took off 1 star as the sofa needs to be replaced. It’s old, cat clawed, uncomfortable to sit on, and looks dirty. We didn’t use the pull-out bed so cannot comment on its sleeping comfort. Overall, a good stay.

The location is convenient & we took a bus from the train station with just a 5 minute walk and we’re net promptly. The building was secure. The rooms were a decent size. But, I agree with the other reviewer that said the property needs upgrading. The sofa was covered with an old blanket, the kitchen had a broken cover over the stove vent. The dryer does not work despite many hours of downloading & reading manuals. This was not set up at all for people from the US as it would need more instructions for all the appliances in English. It was very noisy late into the night as the street is full of bars & is a huge social hub. As a couple in our 60’s this was not appealing but it might be to a younger couple.

After traveling nice to have a place with a washer and dryer. The apartment has a lot of potential needs just a little upgrading. The kitchen was a disaster had all utensils etc but where scattered about no reasoning to it. The sofa as worn and sad. Did have plenty of towels and bedding. It is in a great walkable location.
