About this property
The Siding, Brancaster Staithe, Norfolk
The Siding is a chic bijou retreat, shiny as a new pin and tucked away down a private road on the outskirts of the ever popular sailing village of Brancaster Staithe. Just perfect for couples, this stylish romantic retreat has its own private garden and parking space, and is in strolling distance of the harbour where you can sail or paddleboard, or walk the coastal path to the beach. Best of all, you have two of the best eateries on your doorstep.
Just a short walk to the beautiful sailing harbour of Brancaster Staithe, The Siding is a lovely open plan studio. This delightful bolthole has been beautifully presented by the owners. Light and bright, it is well located for exploring the coast. Head to the bottom of the private road and you'll discover the coast path where you can walk left to Brancaster beach, or right to two of North Norfolk's best eateries; The Jolly Sailors or The White Horse, the latter of which offers romantic dining accompanied by stunning sunset views from the terrace that overlooks the marsh to Scolt Head Island.
Although small, The Siding comes with a large super king-size bed, two comfy chairs and a sit-up breakfast bar. Situated on a private road you are tucked away behind large gates. As well as the bedroom/living/kitchen area there is a stylish shower room too with monsoon shower head, ensuring you have the best start to your day.
On warmer evenings head outside for a meal in your cleverly built private wrap-around courtyard. Being that it faces east, it is ideal for lazy breakfasts too.
With such a fabulous location you will want to get out and explore on foot, but if you also want to experience what its like out at sea, book a cruise with Branta Cruises who are based in the village and you'll be able to discover the wildlife that makes this part of Norfolk so special and unique. But it is not just the wildlife and food that you need to discover, why not spend a day at Burn Valley Vineyard where you can enjoy sampling the local wine? Or if you are feeling a little more adventurous, then book a paddle with local company Brancaster Boards, who will escort and navigate you through the inlets and marshes on one of their hired paddleboards. With Titchwell nature reserve in walking distance too, you can easily while away a day watching the bird life from the various hides and observe the seals lazing in the lagoon.
The property is detached and set apart but shares a driveway with West Heath, which sleeps ten and can also be booked with Norfolk Hideaways.
