Great place to stay in Granada

Wonderful apartment in old town. Great owner but suggest key codes so we do not have to plan our stay around meeting to get key. We were late as we drove into town and felt undue pressure to check in. But owner was understanding and it all worked out

Communication with property manager will be through What's App and run thorough a translate program. The manager is very nice, and we got through a few communication difficulties. The location is wonderful, right on Plaza Nueva and across the street from a taxi stand, very convenient. Be aware -- no personal product amenities are provided, like shampoo, soap, toilet paper. We went right across the square to a mercado (left side of square) and were able to purchase all very easily for about 6 euros. No big deal, but just take note. Below the apartment is a few bars, restaurants across street. Walkability to the Alhambra is less than 10 minutes, unfortunately uphill but it's good for you:) Unit is 2 bedrooms with pull-out couch in living room, living room french doors don't have any curtains. Washing machine works great (no dryer) and we welcomed having the chance to do laundry on our trip! Overall a great place to stay, would definitely recommend. Little quirks are just things to be aware of, but would not keep me from staying there again.
