A Lovely Place
We needed a place to stay for the practice rounds of the Open at St. Andrews and this idyllic town on the River Tay was perfect. The pictures are quite accurate, but remember, if you’re visiting in summer, that this house and nearly all of Scotland has no air conditioning. We bought two tower fans and left them for others who might need in order to sleep at night. The kitchen was complete, the lining room large, the TV worked well and the beds comfortable. The yard was ideal for a quiet sit. It’s within walking distance from a Grocery and several pubs and restaurants of varying cuisines and the walk along the River and seeing dolphins was an added treat, as was the ice cream at Visocchi’s. It was easy to park on the street outside and we made a day to the Highlands and Loch Ness easily from there. If you need a larger store or want more food options, Dundee is but 10 minutes away. We’ll be back!!
