The rural house El coteru Lines is located in the village of Porrua, halfway between the sea and the mountain. Porrúa is less than two kilometres in a straight line from the beach of Poo and the three of Celorio, and approximately five kilometres from the four beaches of Barro and Niembro.
It has well-preserved traditional neighbourhoods with interesting buildings of Indian or popular architecture. The Plaza del Parque has a circular structure, bordered by intertwined bananas, and in its centre is a kiosk in the rationalist style. It celebrates important events for the life of the town: fair of cattle of Asturian race of mountain, pilgrimage and verbena of San Justo and San Pastor, and Astur Market. It is a livestock village whose life and customs cannot be understood without the nearby mountains.
