Great home to stay in with plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the front porch, taking walks down the road and watching a movie. Close to some great restaurants and markets. Thank you!
Being a Housekeeping Manager all food and personal hygiene products should be discarded or taken out of the unit. There was a bottom draw in master bedroom that a toothbrush and roach poop and other things were left in there. A bar of soap and the main house there were empty brown bags, bathroom countless toothpaste and many other things.
Wonderful owners, communicated well, super hospitable, and a beautiful kept property. Everything was available with a few extras. Not far from hilo and lots of nearby amenities and shops. This place and the owners are superb. We are locals and they never treated us less than the tourist they also accommodate. We love this place and looking to book to return soon and stay here! Mahalo nui Hanohano ohana.
Absolutely everything about this place was 5 stars except for both of the queen beds were broken and extremely uncomfortable. Luckily we were only there 2 nights so it wasn't a big deal but seriously replace the beds and this place would be perfect! We loved the 3 rooms and the spacious living room and the nice touch of having beach/sand toys to borrow.

Stay at Hilo
We arrived around 8 at night exhausted with jet lag and found there’s no shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. The note in house says, “we have everything get you started.” I even called the owner where to find them but she said, guests bring their own, if you need them, closest store is located 15-20 drive. In our time it was after midnight.
The house was nice and clean but we found roaches throughout the stay, so I was always on edge. There were plenty kinds of dishes and pans.
Overall the house was nice but the stay was not as relaxing because we had to do a lot of things in order to settle in.
We really enjoyed our time visiting family. Fun at the beach. It was lovely coming back to the house relaxing having coffee on the porch. The decor was wonderful making it more inviting. Neighborhood is beautiful and friendly.
The house was very clean, it worked great for our family of five. The room of on it’s own with its own bathroom was great for our teenager to have her own space. It was a bit hot in the house when we would return from our trips, they had a note saying they were aware and are working on a fix. If you open the windows when you get back it cools down in about an hour or so.
This is our second time staying at this property, and we would definitely come back. It is a very clean place with all the amenities necessary to be comfortable. The hosts are quick to respond to any questions and happy to go above and beyond.
This property was the perfect jumping off point for our time on the Hilo side. We were close to everything we planned to do. We even hiked to Shipman’s Beach, something we have never done in past trips to the island. Great hike.
We stayed at property for a womens conference we were attending. Place was beautiful, spacious, clean, quiet. Loved every part of it and would love to stay here again.
Had a great stay. The house was welcoming and relaxed. Took a lot off our vacation plate and saved money with being able to store and cook own meals and wash laundry. Thank you we will be back when we come again
It was my 1st time staying at a VRBO. We were 6 adults and it was a comfortable stay for 4 days. We did not have any issues. The owner was very nice as he came to introduce himself after a day and asked if we had any questions.
We felt well taken care of this clean, spacious home, tastefully decorated and well stocked kitchen. Water supplied was not sufficient for our stay and the mattresses and pillows need a major upgrade. Other than that, we were happy with our stay!
