The apartment was clean and ideally located. It could use some additional items (drinking glasses, larger cooking pots, a new spatula) but otherwise a great place

Nice place but poor management
Despite the nice space & location our experience with management was very disappointing.
1- First we made sure to be at the site at 3 pm as agreed. We arrived early (2:40) to make sure there were no issues. We waited until 3:15 to call the management office and then for the next 2 and a half hours we made calls and they made promises they would be there and when we were set to leave at 5:30 as we had no washrooms or shelter a representative showed up. The management representative left us some alcohol as a gift for our inconvenience but as we don’t drink it was little help.
2- We did call after we had settled in for an hour that a) the towel bar in the washroom could not be used for towels as it was falling off the wall. b) The sheets and bedding did not fit as it was to small and would not cover the mattress and could notbe tucked in.c) The last request was pillow cases for extra pillows on site.
The management said they would look into these items but only delivered three pillow cases. The towels could be left on shelves but the sheets and covers sizes was an inconvenience but we made due.
We did relay these items to the host when we left as well as recommending the need for a spatula in the kitchen to flip items in a frying pan, the exhaust fan in the washroom didn’t seem to be working and last that the heated towel rack did not heat up at all.
The unit is was spacious, clean and well located.
The unit could be excellent if the lack of customer service could be addressed.

Northeast Manchester - Green Quarter
This is a great neighborhood - the Marble Arch Inn, National football museum, pubs/restaurants with TVs for football matches, Victoria station, Arndale shopping, and Picadilly Gardens. spacious apartment with nice kitchen. Secure apartment complex easy to take the stairs and also elevator.
Our only difficulty was connecting with property owner to revise how to connect for check-in. Original plan for afternoon meeting had to be revised when our plane was cancelled due to mechanical issues. We let property owner know via email as well VRBO website/chatroom, but we never heard back. When we arrived early Saturday morning (instead of Friday afternoon) we still had not had any communication. After an hour of waiting at Manchester Airport, Tobias finally connected by email. He was kind enough to meet us at the property at 8am, but he did not have the key and we took a nice walk to where the key was stored. Tobias filled us in on the apartment and was knowledgable about the building, the apartment, and what to do in Manchester.
After check in, this visit to Manchester was great. The apartment has high ceilings with great windows and natural light when the sun was up. We walked most everywhere, except trip to University of Manchester and a jaunt to Chester by train. Check out was easy and we have fond memories.
