Bramley Cottage is part of a delightful 17th century thatched home, which has recently been refurbished with the aim of providing guests with beautifully designed interiors, indulgently luxurious bedding and home furnishings along with whitewashed walls, oak doors, cosy wood burning stove, super romantic bedroom and a fabulous courtyard. Peaceful and welcoming it's a beautiful homestay you'll just love returning to at the end of the day. Set in the centre of an unspoilt Somerset village within a short walk are two gorgeous pubs serving locally sourced food and drink.
Bedroom Wind up the spiral staircase to the gorgeous bedroom with a French style king-sized bed, super comfortable deep mattress, cotton bedding, and fluffy pillows, so you can settle in and truly relax. There is an en-suite cloakroom with toilet and wash hand basin.
Bathroom The bathroom is on the ground floor and has a walk-in rain-head shower.
Living areas The house has a dual aspect living/dining room with an inglenook fire place and wood burning stove. The sitting area has a comfortable sofa, armchair and is equipped with a 32' flatscreen TV
Kitchen The kitchen is modern and well equipped with an electric two oven Esse Stove, microwave, dishwasher, a large fridge-freezer and a washer-drier.
Step across the path to a small enclosed courtyard with your outdoor table and chairs for alfresco eating or just enjoying a morning coffee. No escape for your four legged friends!

Setting & local area
Bramley Cottage is part of an 16th century former farmhouse. The cottage is found in the east wing of Stepps House - with the owners living in another part of the house. Situated in the heart of Broadway, a quiet Somerset village which is surrounded by fields and woods that are accessible on foot and bicycle through the myriad of local country lanes and footpaths.
Nearby there are several pubs, two within a few minutes walking distance The Bell Inn, Broadway and The Five Dials at Horton. Others such as The Lord Poulett are a little further afield and well worth a visit.
Barrington House, a National Trust house with gardens open to the public, is nearby, as is Forde Abbey and Montecute House
There are several local cider producers whose orchards and presses are worth seeing, Perry's Cider in Dowlish Wake being one, and Julian Temperley's cider and cider brandy distillery over at Burrow Hill another.
A little further away the beach at Lyme Regis and walks along the Jurassic coastline are 40mins or so to the South

The house is accessed just off the A303 and has off road private parking for 1 car Keys left for you in a key safe. The owners are also available to help.

Lovely rental cottage. Well thought through conversion with perfect amenities. Comfortable lounge well equipped kitchen and shower room.

Beautiful property, within a lovely village. Great local pubs and people. We had a lovely few days there. Plenty to see and lots of great walks for dogs.
From the start of booking it was clear we were in for a treat
A beautiful cottage ,beautifully clean ,fashioned and very well thought out ,with everything we needed for our stay .Glenda was at hand if we needed anything but to be honest we didn't as stated above was alreafy thete for us.
