What a beautiful cottage! Had everything we needed for our weeks stay in Scotland.
What a beautiful cottage! Had everything we needed for our weeks stay in Scotland. The log burner kept the place heated to a perfect temperature, the kitchen was a great size and well equipped. Beautifully peaceful for those looking to escape for a while, yet perfectly located for Edinburgh and Stirling for the Wallace monument and the shopping centre. Linlithgow is a lovely little town with a supermarket and a fabulous Indian restaurant. I will be booking again!
We've stayed here on two separate occasions and love it. It's got a peaceful rural setting but is five minutes from the center of Linlithgow and super markets. Hope to stay again.
Very nice country setting. We had quick access via car to Linlithgow. Note, you will not have public transit to or near property, so rent a car. It was perfect for us as we wanted quiet and peaceful.
What a wonderful stay! We wanted a quiet semi rural location, and this comfortable house was perfect. Light-filled, very well-equipped, ingenious design elements, spacious bathrooms, snug and warm on a rainy day, as breezy as you’d like on a sunny day. The location was fantastic as a home base for day trips, Linlithgow very close by with plenty of excellent places to eat and good shopping. The train to Edinburgh is a convenient quick hop.

Wonderful location, especially in the sunshine! The property has beautiful views over the sheep fields and you can walk down to the Linlithgow canal and woods from the property. We had 7 adults staying in the property. I would say it comfortably fits 6 adults, as the 3rd bedroom was very small and one of our group chose to sleep on the sofa. There is also very little sound proofing, as 2 of the bedrooms are open to the living space. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice to have a dining table we could all fit around. The showers were great and we didn’t run out of hot water, even with 7 girls. The property felt like it could do with a deep clean, we aren’t too fussy but I can imagine it wouldn’t be up to some people’s standards. Overall we had a lovely stay, thank you.
