A stunning property in a village with shops/eateries for everything you need. Verona House has been beautifully decorated and immaculate. Stayed with friends for a walking holiday and all loved it.
Well presented beautifully decorated cottage with excellent amenities in the heart of Tideswell convenient for all local attractions in and around the village. Great communication with the owner who supplied perfect knowledge of the local pubs and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone family or friends all catered for in the four bed 3 bath accommodation not forgetting the private secluded secret terrace with bbq perfect for a chilled out evening. Will definitely visit again

Returned from a week's holiday with my daughter and three grandchildren at Verona House.
Returned from a week's holiday with my daughter and three grandchildren at Verona House. This is by far the best cottage we have ever stayed in. Plenty of room for everyone and every tiny detail has been thought of by the owners. The owner, Dave, also contacted us before during and at the end of our stay to ensure we had everything we needed and that we had enjoyed our stay - a service we have never received from previous cottage rentals and one that we appreciated so much!Tideswell is a fabulous location to visit the Peak District. Plenty of lovely walks around the village itself and easy access to the many attractions the area has to offer. We did a big Tesco shop online which was delivered within an hour of our arrival and then exclusively used the village shops throughout the week. The butchers across the road were very friendly (we stocked up to bring home for our freezer the day before we left) and we had a lovely sandwich from the bakers also on the last day. Throughout our stay we ate at The Star twice (really friendly staff and amazing home cooked food) and at Sals Italian once (again, friendly staff who despite making an error with our booking, fell over backwards to ensure we had a fabulous meal). We would love to return to Tideswell again one day and I absolutely can't recommend this cottage enough - exceptional value and quality. Thank you so much Dave.
